Very peaceful getaway and quite close to Kuruva Dweep and Tholpetty Sanctuary. Winter mornings with mist over the Kabini river , the surrounding rice fields and the resort itself were magical. The caretakers of the resort were also very helpful though language was a slight barrier. Now the bad part. The rooms urgently require maintainence with shaky cabinet doors and worn out interiors. There is also a musty smell in the room. The service though well intentioned need some orientation in hospitality especially for being on time. The lower rating is perhaps because the other hotels during our Wayanad trip were superb on service.
