we took atour with boat Milica on 30 AUG, we contacted them through facebook and they replied promptly. the guide provided a good amount of info about the lake (ecosystems, birds, history, stories) and we stopped to to swim. They can also arrange tours according to what the customer wants to see (beaches, birds, the lak eitself etc). The ride took two hours, the service was very friendly and efficient. great value, we definitely recommend!

We spent two weeks staying in Montenegro and toured all over this beautiful country, but the highlight was a 2 hour trip on this quaint little boat on Lake Skadar. There were plenty of people around touting for our custom but we were lucky enough to stumble on this little gem, a family run business, who's beautiful boat provided us with an idillic trip from Virpazer following a path through stunning water lillies before reaching the expanse of the lake, surrounded by mountains. Our hosts were a husband and wife team and they couldn't have been more welcoming or informative. Our trip was made up of just 8 passengers, a friendly crowd, it wasn't long before we were all captivated by the natural beauty of the area, there were no time restrictions, we even had a lovely swim in the lake which was like bath water. All of the other trips were larger boats which didn't seem to have the same appeal as the small more personal trip provided by 'Boat Milica' Thank you so much

Boat Milica provides for various boat trips on Lake Skadar (1 entire day, 2 or 3 hours round trip).
The lake itself is wonderful, overgrown with lilies, many wildlife and beautiful sights.
We stopped for 30 minutes near the island Grmozur for a refreshing swim.

The tourguide was the young daughter Milica of owners Andrej and Elena.
She was fluent in Russian, English and French, and had a very broad knowledge about the lake (various stories, interesting facts, etc...).

This trip really was one of the highlights of our trip, and we were truly charmed by the friendliness and honesty of our tour operator.

We warmly recommend Boat Milica for doing a relaxed boat trip on Lake Skadar!

We booked this trip through the national park office. Jelena was waiting for us with her helpful daughter who was our guide for the two hour trip. We felt comfortable throughout. So refreshing compared with those who would try and get you on a trip for twice the price. beautiful views of water lilies and the wildlife in the lake. Best bit though was jumping into the clear, warm waters. great for kids (including adult ones!)

This trip was great - the tourguide was friendly and spoke great English. We booked for two hours in which time we travelled down a channel of the Skadar onto the main lake, past the old prison island and fishing villages to a places which was good for swimming. Take your swimming stuff for this trip -there was one person on board who didn't realise we would be in the water so he didn't bring any and could only watch from the boat as the rest of us splashed around in gorgeous, 26-degree water. The driver of the boat was also really friendly, even though he didn't have English, he still interacted with everyone. It was a really peaceful, jolly experience and the operators clearly have a lot of respect from the lake and its biodiversity. We paid 5 euros per hour each, which I think may have been a particularly low price. I think normal fees are 10 euros an hour. There were eight of us on the boat, plus two staff. Drinks were provided and the guide recommended a good restaurant in the village afterwards.
