We spent a week in Quettehou in a cottage in a small hamlet called Sey, a stones throw from Quettehou. The cottage was fantastic everything you want for a relaxing holiday. The garden was beauitful, large and fully enclosed so very relaxing if you have children. Quettehou town was a 5 minute walk, lovely shops, and restaraunts, everything you need and a further 5 minutes was the Super Marche, with lots of lovely foods, especially the Seafood section. The beach in Quettehou, Le Rivage was disappointing, lots of algae, and black sticky sand but to compensate that, St Vaast La Hougue, a 5 minute drive or 45 minute walk ( with a 4 year old) has a beautiful Blue Flag Beach, plenty of sand and clear water. Lots of places to eat, especially if you like Seafood. A shop to visit for a little of authentic france is MGosselin,a wonderful place.
This area of France is most certainly worth a visit. We shall be going back and already looking at booking for 2011.
