Holly House Bed & Breakfast
Ranked #2 of 5 Ebrington B&B and Inns
Reviewed June 3, 2014

We stayed at the Holly House for 6 nights to explore the Northern Cotwolds area. The village is like a picture postcard, with beautiful thatched roof homes. The Ebrington Arms Pub is next door and has a good selection of ales and food. Chipping Campden is a couple miles away. Many interesting towns are within a short drive or hike on the local trails. Hidcote gardens is a lovely walk and shouldn't be missed. Oh, did I mention the owner Jeffrey? He's a great cook, host, conversationalist and provided everything we needed for a very pleasant stay.

Room Tip: We stayed in the annex, but the house was absolutely beautiful in a lovely tranquil setting.

This B and B is located in a small village near Chipping Campden. The owner, Geoff. Hutsby greeted us arrival and showed us to our room. The room was spacious well appointed and clean. The bathroom was larger than most. Breakfast was excellent. The property was a short walk to a renowned gastro pub, the Ebrington Arms. There was tons of parking on site.

We stayed one night at the end of June and had a wonderful time. We booked the triple and it was actually in a separate building just outside the main house. The room was as expected, clean and plenty big enough for three. The breakfast was good as well. Jeffrey was fantastic, giving us some advise on planning our day in the Cotswolds. He was also very flexible as it was no problem changing our arrival date and arriving late.

My sister and I spent two nights with Jeffrey on our visit to the Cotswolds in June. We were directed to his B&B by the tourist office in Chipping Camden, only a few miles away. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Jeffrey is a perfect host. He invited us into his home to access the internet from his dining room! Breakfast was excellent. His grounds are beautiful. There are a number of dining options within a short drive, as well as the pub next door! We would love to go back!

We stayed once again at Holly House. We were able to arrive early and our accommodation was in the spacious room in the converted barn with its large ensuite shower room complete with toiletries. Jeffrey, as before was the perfect host and would do anything to make your stay comfortable. An added bonus is to be able to walk to the Ebrington Arms pub for a nice meal. We even had a stroll along the road into the countryside. Recommended.

Room Tip: The two rooms in the courtyard have own entrance.

Had one night in this lovely little B & B our host Jeff was very welcoming a lovey clean room, with all the mod cons you get with a small B & B. The car park area takes some interesting steering moves to avoid the walls, but taken easy is no problem. My wife agrees with other comments re a womans touch!.
A nice cooked breakfast lovely coffee and plenty of toast.
We would stay at Holly House again when in the area.

Room Tip: Did not manage to have a choice, our room was right next to the breakfast area.

Stayed 2 nights at the Holly House. Jeffrey is a very good host. Room was very comfortable and breakfast was nice. The property on the whole is very pretty too with a panoramic view from the backyard/ parking. Ebrington is a great location to drive around the Cotswolds area. Everything is super accessible. Chipping Campden being only 2 miles away. It was reasonably priced given the big size of the room. My only rant is with respect to cleanliness. While the room 'looked' spotless, there was dust/cobwebs in the nooks and corners and found a spider on our bed. But that maybe due to the fact that we are in countryside :) That said, I wouldn't hesitate recommending it for a weekend stay.
