Our family of five loved our stay at the Spring Cottage. The cottage was lovely and inviting with a fully equipped kitchen and nice yard. Most nights we ate at the Ebrington Arms which was a two minute walk from the cottage. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, and the food was excellent. Ebrington was well located for exploring neighboring towns. We felt we had an authentic Cotswold experience by staying here. Highly recommend!
We stayed at Spring Cottage and couldn't have been more satisfied - booking was easy and through Paypal which is very convenient booking from the USA. The travel instructions were perfect and we found the cottage very quickly - I think this is probably the best equipped cottage we have ever stayed at! Almost every mod-con was there! We loved the Aga - luckily, my parents have one in the West Country, so it was easy to use; however, it could be a little daunting to the novice. Lots of great instructions were given though. The bedroom and bathrooms were spotlessly clean and beds were very comfortable. The location is great for Broadway, Chipping Campden and reasonably close to Stratford-upon-Avon and Bourton-on-the -Water. We also enjoyed a nice meal the Ebrington Arms which is about 3-5 minutes walk. Overall, a wonderful experience!
Set in the rural village of Ebrington, the cottage is one of a pair on the left hand side after you pass the Ebrington Arms (a charming gastro pub, 30 seconds away). Entry was via the back door which led directly into the ample kitchen, dominated by the constantly burning Aga (careful if children about as Aga is permanently on - could be uncomfortable in the summer, great in winter). The cottage and furnishings were luxury. kitchen, shower room, living/dining room downstairs, 2 doubles, 1 single, and bathroom upstairs. Again, the beds and bedding were luxury. If wanting to get away from it all then this place comes highly recommended. *****
This beautiful cottage was immaculate and luxurious, with all mod cons, whilst still preserving a warm, homely and traditional feel.
The beds were extremely comfortable, and the linen was lovely. The kitchen was a joy to use and relax in, and the Aga was a treat.
All in all, the place was faultless ( and The Ebrington Arms was an added bonus ).
Keep up the good work
