The cottage itself was packed full of period features and was well equipped with good quality furnishings. It really did feel like home from home and we immediately felt settled.
We have 3 young children and the property was well equipped including travel cots, good quality linens and towels.
Location is perfect for exploring local family acitivities such as the Cotswold Wildlife Park, Cotswold Farm Park and Crocodile of the World all within a short drive. Located close to tourist towns like the Slaughters and Bourton on Water, the are also a number of highly recommended pubs and restaurants within a few miles.
Really lovely place to stay. Lots of space, decorated to a very high standard throughout with a large modern kitchen. Lots of extra goodies like a Bose speaker, loads of books and board games plus an amazing electronic piano (not a simple keyboard). Very family friendly (although the top stairs are steep), with loads of indoor room for kiddies to enjoy.
The only minor draw backs are just a small patio for outdoor space (but you are in the middle of the countryside) and wifi was a little patchy due to the thick walls (some boosters would help here).
Had a great week in this charming, cosy, warm cottage. Ideal location and well equipped with all your needs. We loved it and would come back again.
