This place is amazing. The best place i have ever stayed. The location is only good if you have some transport however. Its big, stylish and will impress anyone you take there.
I went with a group of friends and we all had a great time. It came with a maid who would cook, clean and wash up (we did however keep it very clean because we aren't animals) and I must say she was lovely. We were lucky to get it at a great price and could believe our luck. We ended up staying for a week as we loved it so much.
Big rooms, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, large dinning table and a huge living room space. I would love to go back!
We stayed here for 11 nights and had the most wonderful time. Villa is gorgeous - there was 8 of us and we had plenty room so we weren’t all on top of each other. Rooms were really nice and spacious and Maya did a great job of keeping the place clean with all of us there. We had a couple of rainy days during our stay so the pool room was great for keeping us entertained. Twice during our stay we arranged for Maya to prepare a meal for us and it was great both times - once a BBQ and another a Thai meal. Villa was maybe a 20 min walk from Nai Harn beach. On our first visit to the beach we got a minivan to take us from there to Rawai to a bar we wanted to visit and we took his card when we left. We ended up phoning him every time we wanted to go anywhere and booked him for a couple of full days to take us round the island.
Absolutely amazing and outstanding value for money. Perfect place for a getaway with friends or family. The villa is lovely, offers lovely views and is conveniently located, around 15-20 minutes walk from Nai Harn beach. The entire process - from initial booking process, check-in, meals, housekeeping and checkout - was a great experience. Thank you Tracey and team for making this a memorable holiday for us.
2nd time at Sunstone villa and it's just great, the booking and general arranging is 1st class. Maya the housekeeper is an angel, goes above and beyond we'll miss her as much as we miss beautiful Thailand!
We had a wonderful family holiday with three generations from five months to eighty. The villa is well located in a quiet undeveloped area and the maid/cook was very efficient and helpful. Her Thai food was amazing. The villa is about a mile from the beach, and a little more to the village of Nai Harn. Too far for little ones to walk in the heat so we developed a good relationship with the jeep taxis based at the beach. Shopping is also an issue as larger supermarkets are quite a long way away. We had problems with the pool which was heavily over chlorinated and we couldn't really use it for three or four days. The seventh (maids) bedroom is not very pleasant, has no windows and contains washing machine and tumble dryer. All other rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The villa has probably been a little overworked. The dishwasher isn't working very well, the air conditioning in the bedrooms failed in turn and there was only one saucepan fit to cook in. - plenty of woks- Having said all that, it was perfect for a big family holiday.
Where to start?? great, quiet location but close enough to head to the beach or bars, great rooms, lovely pool, plenty of room and very child friendly, add in a brilliant maid/cook and a management team that are totally willing to help.
Can't say any more than we've already booked to go back next year!
