We have just spent 2 wonderful weeks at Villa Oasis. The holiday was to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday and I wanted something really special - after months of research, looking at dozens of villas I finally settled on Villa Oasis - and it couldnt have been a better choice!
I was impressed both with the pictures and previous reviews which helped me chose the villa, and also with the prompt and informative replies from Ian and Kathy to my numerous emails over the year before we came on holiday. Not only did they deal with the booking quickly and professionally, but they also went out of their way to help me plan and booked special events and trips for my husbands big day - its fair to say, by the time we arrived, I felt as though I was meeting old friends!
On previous holidays we have booked villas which were "close to shops and restaurants" only to find we had to walk miles to find a solitary cafe - not so with Villa Oasis - it is literally 5 minute walk to dozens of fantastic restaurants, shops, supermarkets and salons. In fact, we found that the restaurant rated the best in Rawai at the time was at the end of our road!
The Villa itself, as per other reviews, is gorgeous - beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and the accommodation is luxurious, comfortable and everything is of the highest standard. We were amazed when the Villa was cleaned regularly during our stay, beds and towels changed and the gardeners in keeping everything looking great. We felt so at home for the 2 weeks we stayed, everyone is so friendly and the whole place has a very calm and tranquil feeling.
We came with our 2 teenage daughters, who loved the pool the huge bedrooms and the novelty of having their own luxury en suites - sadly my youngest daughters bedroom at home is smaller than her en suite at Villa Oasis!
I cannot recommend Villa Oasis highly enough, in fact any of Ian and Kathys properties - we have looked at them all and they all looked superb!
I think what makes Ian and Kathy so good at what they do is that they understand how important it is that people have a great holiday - when you have worked hard all year to save for something special, it is a joy to get there and discover that it is not only as described, but better than you could ever have dreamed of!!
The villa is simple but functional. Everything works well and the pool is a real attraction of this place.
WE got married in January, and from February our honeymoon, albeit amazing has been described as short. So we went on another in December. It was amazing. I've been to Phuket before and must admit to not loving the places like Patong but Rawai and Nai hahn are a different thing altogether. This villa is magic and the surrounds awesome. Only 2km from the islands best beach, few hundred meters from a thriving little village with restaurants of all types, 300m from a random French guy who makes amazing burgers, a great coffee around the corner, 100m from massages. The list goes on. Ian and Cathy are great hosts and guides. Can't recommend it enough.
Just returned from a fantastic week at the Villa Oasis. My family and I loved staying there. It really is a beautiful villa. All 3 of the bedrooms are really big, each with their own en suite. The living / dining area was ideal for shared evenings and the pool was huge for a private villa. Previous guests have left various pool toys as well which was nice as well. You don't need a car as there are a number of reastaurants and bars within about 10 minutes walk. The beaches are a bit further but reachacble on foot. The villa, pool and grounds are cleaned regularly while you are there. Finally, I've got to agree with previous posts when they say that Ian and Kathy who look after the villa are great. Nothing was too much trouble for them from the welcome trip around the local area to advising the women in our party where the best place was to have their nails done. They made us feel very welcome. We would definately have no hesitation in returning to this villa.

Firstly I'll start by endorsing all other reviews done for "Villa Oasis".
It is, and was, everything mentioned in the reviews.
We stayed here as 3 couples with a 20 month old toddler...with the 3 large bedrooms , this suited us great. We were able to house my brother in law in the detached 3rd bedroom, who keeps different sleeping hours to myself. All bedrooms are well appointed and have great beds and bathrooms... (2 baths in the inside bathrooms). Kitchen area was well equipped and was used for cooked breakfasts and some lunches also. Interesting system where other guests or Ian and Kathy leave basic grocery items...in turn we left some things, hopefully for others to use.
The pool and sala area is the jewel in the crown and was used very regularly...no pool hours here...jump in whenever.
Ian and Kathy are mentioned in other TA reviews and for good reason. The service they provide is first class. We required a doctor for our toddler..within an hour we had mum, dad and her picked up, appointment and visit organised at Kathy's doctor, and returned with scripts / antibiotics. My daughter works in the medical profession, said that the doctor was first class. 2 other minor villa issues were dealt with promptly also.
They also took us on a local tour...pointing out eateries, bars, shops and other points of interest nearby. Different groups will probably get different tours based on individual needs. Top marks also for stopping and picking up some essential liquid supplies...purely for hydration needs.
I won't go into details about restaurants. Around Nai Harn and Rawai there are truckloads. Whatever style of cuisine you're after...you will find it.
I have visited Phuket around 8 times now. This was my first villa stay because of our extended family. It suited our needs perfectly and then some. You can basically do as little or as much as you want. I've been and seen all Phukets attractions so my first 5 days were spent doing nothing....but that's exactly what I wanted.
I've given ratings of 5 before....this should be a 6.

We found this property on Tripadvisor and booked it based on the great reviews. My husband and I stayed here with our two sons 13y and 10y for 10 nights and we just LOVED it!!! The villa was beautiful, roomy and very modern. The Pool was absolutely huge - you could actually swim laps in it, or the kids could play in one end and we could relax in the other end. The bedrooms were furnished in beautiful local wooden furniture and the mattresses were extremely comfy. Apart from a bit of breakfast, we didn't actually cook in the villa but the kitchen was very modern and very clean - as was the rest of the villa.
The villa was located close to shops and restaurants. We decided not to hire a car and were perfectly fine walking in the immediate area. If we wanted to go to the beach (not too far, but in the heat, we found it too far to walk) or other further away destinations, we just booked a taxi or we caught the local bus for just 20Baht per person (great fun). Now, even though the villa was great, what really made our holiday was the property managers, Ian and Kathy; they were absolutely wonderful and helped us with any enquiry we had - they even anticipated questions before we got to ask them, and sent us emails with great tips. We arrived late at night and they had arranged for a taxi service to meet us at the airport and take us to the villa. Once we got there, Ian and Kathy were there with huge smiles to extend a warm welcome (by then it would have been close to Midnight) they showed us around in the villa and made sure we were right for the night and then they left us to explore the beautiful villa on our own. In the fridge was everything we could need for the first night and morning. Lovely to sit back with a cold drink after the long travel. Next morning Ian and Kathy came back to take us on a little tour of the local area - this was invaluable as it gave us a good feel of location and also gave us the run down of their favorite restaurants. We did get to try a lot of the restaurants and it appears we have similar taste in food as we agreed with their assessment nearly every time. One day we had a lot of rain over night and Ian and Kathy popped by the next day (after having called us first) just to make sure all was well even though we had no complaints.
So the villa was fantastic and the service by Ian and Kathy was exceptional. If we come back to Phuket, we definitely know where we will be staying. We absolutely loved it !!!
This was our second trip to this area and we would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Oasis. The Villa is spacious, modern and well furnished. The pool and surrounding area are large and we spent many hours alternating between sun lounger and pool. The surrounding area has many great restaurants that are within walking distance and there are a selection off fabulous beaches within a 5 minute car / taxi ride, Nai Harn Beach and Ao Sane are two we particularly enjoyed. What really made a difference to our trip were Ian and Kathy, they met us at the villa and gave us a very useful introduction to the villa and the surrounding area. Nothing was too much of a problem for them and if you book via them you can have complete peace of mind that any issue that might arise will be dealt with swiftly and efficiently.
