We stayed here for 2 weeks in January 2011. I'm late in writing this review obviously!

So, overall our experience was positive. If there were more options the same distance from the beach I'd probably look around. But remember that in this area there are VERY few choices for accommodation within a 30sec walk to this beach. From what we could tell it was this place, the Royal Yacht Club (whatever it's called, its ridiculously expensive), or any of the hotels up in the Naiharn town area which are a decent walk to the beach and not recommended under the scorching sun.

All we were looking for was a comfortable, clean, quiet room. This place ticked those boxes. Yes, it is far from the 'action', but on our day trips to areas such as Patong (which we found to be extremely dirty, loud, and annoying) we found ourselves very glad that we stayed in Naiharn. This area is so beautiful. We took a day trip to Coral Island and while it was beautiful, the beach at Naiharn is just as good. And anyway the hotel has a free shuttle service to the main drags which we did a few times. Make sure you book a few days in advance. They will also take you up to Promthep Cape for sunset - don't miss this. There are some lovely shops up there and the shop keepers just give you the best price straight up unlike Patong etc.

We loved the 100THB cocktails at happy hour by the pool. Fitness room not great but nice beach and flat paths around for jogging in the mornings. Breakfast was good enough. At peak times i.e. 9am it was hard to get a table and staff struggled to keep up. There was one short-lived power outage during our stay (boohoo get over it and go to the beach) In my opinion minor inconveniences are worth it to stay at this location. There are a bunch of restaurants across the road which were magical at night time. All the tables are in the sand and the food is amazing (Food Mama is the best) and cheap.

So basically, my point is this: if you travel overseas to spend all your time sitting in a luxury hotel room, you will not like this place. If you want a decent (decent, not 5 star) and safe place to crash after getting out and about, you'll be fine.

Room tip: Ask for a room not facing the road as motorbikes can go past late at night and early morning.

The beach by this hotel is amazing. It is right across the street, and has perfect sand and waves. That all being said, our hotel room smelled like sewage when we walked in. Called the front desk and they came up and basically just ran the A/C on blast until it went away. Throughout our stay, whenever we would leave the A/C off for a while... same thing would happen. Also, I accidentally broke a glass bottle of water on the floor and they came up to sweep up the pieces of glass. That was very nice of them, however they charged me 60 baht for doing that on my bill. Interesting... The included buffet breakfast was decent, we figured out that the cook will make omelettes for you if you ask, otherwise you'll just get eggs by themselves. All in all, I would stay here again because of the location and hopefully the sewage issue was just a fluke in our wing of the hotel...

We stood here for 11 nights, had two separate rooms with a connecting door. We had Superior Rooms with 1 King Bed each. Single Occupancy each. We took a taxi from the Airport, it was 600 Baht for two people. The rooms have been very spacious and have been equipped quite good. The baths rooms also have been equipped well and have also been spacious. The rooms have been behind the main building in the hills. From the beach you even couldn't see anything else but the main building which I think is very well done. There are two resorts next to the all seasons who are clearly visible and their look disturb the environment notably more than the all season's buildings do. The nearby beach is good and wide but also was packed but then we've been there during high season. Respecting this the price has been reasonable (approx. 68 EUR per night, breakfast included). The breakfast was good, two chefs there cooking to order. As the resort is part of a french Chain it was not a surprise that man french guests have been there, which all have been very polite and nice. When you went to the beach things could get different with lots of russian guests there. Their way to spend a holiday is different to the way western european people do. As Naiharn beach is quite quiet, I recommend to go to Rawai Beach (Tuk Tuk costs 300 Baht). There are some nice places to go. Don't miss the seafood market at Rawai pier, buy some fresh Tiger Prawns os Lobster there and go to one of the two restaurants on the other side of the street. They'll prepare the food you brought at a small charge, order some side dishes as well as drinks and make it a good night! We ordered a shuttle service back to the airport and the hotel charged us 1000 Baht. I liked the resort and the location! And yes, when a friend of mine, who used to live in Rawai in winter, stood at my room for a few nights, the room still was spacious. And the reception staff was extremely nice, even remembered my name 5 days after checking in.

We arrived in the All Seasons on a Saturday morning and were greeted by reception who asked us for a deposit of 2,000 bkts. We were then directed to our room by the porters aka ' the stable boys' who expected a tip. The room itself was clean however the bed was fairly uncomfortable. On two occasions we had to ask for towels in our room as the cleaner forgot to replace them. Overall staff were pleasant but not overly helpful. I asked for an iron at reception and I was told the hotel didn't have one. The breakfast was fairly decent with a buffet offering a variety of foods. The pool area was fairly nice with music busting out tunes til 7pm and happy hour. In the surrounding area the coconut cafe is a must to dine in however do avoid Seafood Nai Harn which is complete crap. The free shuttle service is good but remember to book in advance. As a location it is fairly remote without transport unless you are prepared to rent a scooter or car. Overall , not a bad spot but I wouldn't want to return either.....

Room tip: Tell them its a special ocassion, maybe you will be lucky to get a room towards the front near the beach.

Not a good impression when we moved in. Nobody came to help us with the luggages despite the fact that the reception saw us very well. After this we are asked 2000 bath in advance in case at the time of check out we run away without paying for a broken glass or a towel. The room was ok for that price. The swimming pool very nice. the breakfast very good. The staff ok except for their poor english. The manager very good in helping me to sort out some email. So IF YOU DONT MIND to be taken for a possible thief everything else is ok. Nai harn beach is also very nice except for dirty stray dogs always around.
