Hi,

We have just spent 13 days at Barilla Holiday Park. My husband, myself and 4 kids from the ages of 15 - 10. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The office staff are excellent, Julianne was unbelievable. The lovely cleaning services ladies, were fantastic, (thank you again to the lady who lent me the washing basket for a few days, so much appreciated). You have to go to Nate's Restaurant. So nice to stay in a great Holiday Park and not have to drive for a brillant meal, plus the best pizzas I've ever had. Al a carte restaurant will blow your mind. All round, thank you so much Barilla Bay staff and Nate's Restaurant for a great break from the "rat race".

See you next year.

My wife, son and I stayed here for 2 nights in early October 2010. We arrived late due to a delayed flight but had an excellent time. The staff were so friendly and accomodating that we have decided to stay here again when we visit again in December!
The location was only a 5 min. drive from Hobart Airport which was nice and was literally .5 KM from 2 wineries and other great spots.
We were given a complimentary 30 minute hot-tub experience in their in-door tub which my son loved! There was an amazing looking bar and pizzaria which we didn't take advantage of due to the nice kitchen in the cabin but wish we would have.
I honestly would stay at this location if you intend to do anything within 40km of Hobart due to the price, (we paid 80 AUD per night for a 3 bunk cabin) and because it is well located and the best staff!
Thanks you Barilla Holiday Park!

We stayed here for 4 nights at either end of our holiday.
Cabins were comfortable, airey, very clean, and well appointed.
Best to stay here with a car as it is 12kms away from Hobart central, but only 10mins drive (excluding rush hour).
Laundry washers and driers are on a par with laundromats, except the powder. $2.50 per sachet onsite versus laundromat powder 20c.
