Was looking to get away from the everyday routine, needed a stress free environment... and that is exactly what I got. I loved this hotel, it was nice, clean, elegant, quiet.... It was amazing. If you want to go to a nice, relaxing, quiet resort this is the place. It is about 20 minutes away from all the attractions but it is worth it.

Room Tip: Ocean View is worth it.

Place is nice and clean. Food was okay. Bars were great. Service was poor as we had to wait over 2 hours for our reserved seating. There was no food available between 5 PM and your reservation time and this could be up to 4-5 hours. Most of the staff was friendly except a few persons at the reception. Mexican restaurant appetizers were great.

Breakfast was good. All inclusive package with no string attached is recommended.

Room Tip: Rooms on the south side have better view.

If you are looking for a beautiful, clean and relaxing resort, this is the place. If you are looking for a lot of action then you may want to stay in the Hotel zone where its closer to activities and restaurants and shops. Definitely do your homework in terms of transportation. Because of the location of this resort the taxis are very expensive to go to the hotel zone where most of the action is. If you are truly just looking for a quiet atmoshere for a vacation then the location is perfect. p

Room Tip: The view of the ocean is the best at least until renovation is complete on the property. My husband enjoyed the room we were in. We had a view of the pools and beach

The resort is gorgeous, the staff all wonderful, the beaches gorgeous, the food excellent. We went on the all inclusive plan, but because of the way they run the resort, you still had to sign a bill for every. single. thing. It was annoying. I'm used to walking up to a bar and getting ice refilled or grabbing a bottle of water - no such thing. A bill. An EXPECTED tip. For Every. Little Thing. Also we booked an excursion to Tulum through their travel agency - not a good idea. We spent 5 or 6 hours on a bus for 90 minutes of tour. They shuttled us from bus stop to bus stop, likely our fault for not booking direct. And those beds you see in their header? 95% are for members only, so beware. Although we never had a problem snagging a bed. Also there is construction going on, so if you get a room near it you might want to ask to move. They are VERY accommodating!

I will start by saying we have been members at this resort since it opened Dec 2010. Last year they had just complete the work there so this year all the garden areas were beautiful and very clean. Then resort had a lot of people this time but there was always a chair by the pool. I have to say at this resort the people DO NOT get up at 6 to put a towel on the chair and then go back to bed so that was nice. The food was outstanding love the sushi. The service staff was as good as always giving thanks to Katia Merley and Izmial Carlos at the tiki bar and all the reset can't remember everyone's name after all we were on vacation haha. It is a little out of the way but not so bad get a taxi they do have a shuttle service but we either rent a car or cab it. You can always take the public ferry to Isla Mujeres for about 70 Pecos. So please go there have a get time it is worth it.
