“Beautiful resort, annoying all inclusive”

The resort is gorgeous, the staff all wonderful, the beaches gorgeous, the food excellent. We went on the all inclusive plan, but because of the way they run the resort, you still had to sign a bill for every. single. thing. It was annoying. I'm used to walking up to a bar and getting ice refilled or grabbing a bottle of water - no such thing. A bill. An EXPECTED tip. For Every. Little Thing. Also we booked an excursion to Tulum through their travel agency - not a good idea. We spent 5 or 6 hours on a bus for 90 minutes of tour. They shuttled us from bus stop to bus stop, likely our fault for not booking direct. And those beds you see in their header? 95% are for members only, so beware. Although we never had a problem snagging a bed. Also there is construction going on, so if you get a room near it you might want to ask to move. They are VERY accommodating!

I will start by saying we have been members at this resort since it opened Dec 2010. Last year they had just complete the work there so this year all the garden areas were beautiful and very clean. Then resort had a lot of people this time but there was always a chair by the pool. I have to say at this resort the people DO NOT get up at 6 to put a towel on the chair and then go back to bed so that was nice. The food was outstanding love the sushi. The service staff was as good as always giving thanks to Katia Merley and Izmial Carlos at the tiki bar and all the reset can't remember everyone's name after all we were on vacation haha. It is a little out of the way but not so bad get a taxi they do have a shuttle service but we either rent a car or cab it. You can always take the public ferry to Isla Mujeres for about 70 Pecos. So please go there have a get time it is worth it.

This is no more than 2star place, looks good in pictures but after checking in & seeing the mold in the rooms paid for upgrade so could have bigger space for my family then more mold. The sales dept did say they are aware of this & working on it but all I noticed all week was them trying to sell units to build the next stage, when they need to be putting hudimifer units in the current rooms or it will be worse. The place had great concept but lacking in execution. (The staff was great, & everyone was pleasant, just needs work still). I made the best of our family time but would not recommend staying here.

the hotel is very nice and most of the staff was polite and helpful. however, it is located in the middle of no where so be sure to rent a car or else you will pay through the nose for private transportation (no bus accessibility). they surprise you with so many extra charges when you check out so be sure to read the fine print! They will charge you a gratuity fee for each day/each room of your stay, the drinks were not top shelf as advertised and the food is rediculously expensive (all inclusive is not worth it because restaurants are not always accessible). if you must stay at this hotel, i would recommend not getting the all inclusive and go to walmart and buy your own groceries and drinks. the one and two bedroom rooms have a full kitchen and dining area, and they don't mind you carrying your drinks around the resort as long as they are in plastic containers.

Excellent resort located in a quiet and secluded beach. Perfect for family vacations.
Several pools, whirlpools, beautiful beach, etc...
Very clean and upscale accommodations.
Food is very tasty and well presented. All inclusive package is highly recommended.
Will definitely come back!

Room Tip: Ocean view rooms are worth every single penny!

Place is nice and clean
Staff is very friendly
Food is good. Especially the Mexican restaurant
The tortilla soup was amazing
Some compliants....Get some real butter. Entire place used margarine YUCK
Pools were a little chilly but we did have day of driving rain
Would have liked free wifi. They charge $45 for 5 days of wifi

The resort was excellent ,beautiful grounds,amazing pools. There were whirlpools everywhere,
The 2 restaurants,part of our all inclusive deal were very good. The wait staff was helpful and attentive .Davino tended to get very busy after 7:30 reservations are a must.
Overall we had a great time.The time share talk was low pressure and interesting.
The one downside was that we were always the last to be dropped off for the additional trips we took to Chichen Itza and Tulum.In the case of Tulum it was an hour later than the first Hotel. The restaurant let us order dinner even though we came past there closing time.
I would recommend this resort.

Room Tip: $20/day upgrade for 1 bedroom was well worth it. Plenty of room and a nice patio area.
