“so so nice!”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

we spend at the hideway a week in August 2013 and we really enjoyed .
The place is located in a truly paradise, so quite, it was long time ago since I haven't heard any human sound in the night!
But the thing I've enjoyed the most is the friendly approach of Mark and Sarah and their way to make you feel like at home, i had the feeling i was visiting an old friend and the lovely apartment had all the things you might need, the kitchen has more accessories than my own kitchen!
We were lucky to be there at the same time with others very nice families and we even end up doing a bbq all together!
Definitely recommended place.

We stayed at the Hideaway in July, the accommodation and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Our apartment was very comfortable and well equipped, we had our little grandson with us and Mark and Sarah were happy to provide all we needed for him including a bath that also did great service as a paddling pool! We received such a warm welcome from our hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them, the home made cakes are delicious and much appreciated, the supply of fresh herbs and vegetables from the garden was a real treat. We found lots of great places to eat close by, all very reasonably priced, the handmade guide book supplied in the apartment was brilliant for suggestions of where to eat, places to visit, beaches etc. not one of the places we tried disappointed. The sea at the nearest beach is warm and shallow, great for kids. We all fell in love with the place, the region and the food (we had a fantastic cookery lesson it a local Bioagrotourismo, again suggested by Sarah and Mark), we will definitely be returning in the future, there was so much we'd still like to do but just didn't have time for. All in all one of the best holidays we have ever had.

In 2012 we spent a week with Mark and Sarah, so for this year we booked again to spent a week at The Hideaway. Enjoying the beautifull surrounding area, the quitness of the region and the comfort of their Agriturismo felt again really comfortable. Mark and Sarah are great Hosts and accompanied us at our day of arrival for a great diner at a neighboring Agritursimo for a great 7 course diner. All menus were served with local and biological grown ingredients. All together we had a pleasant week in this beautifull area and we certainly can recommend The Hideaway visting this area of Italy.

We had a wonderful stay, a warm welcome with wine and cakes made by Sarah and mark. The appartment was beautiful decorated and spotless clean. It's a house with all the accommodations you need and very child friendly ! A beautiful garden and lots of space to sit and relax, or have a swim in the nice pool ! The nicest thing is all the tips you get for free to explore the surroundings - wine tasting, good restaurants, .... In marche region this place in the middle of mountain sibbilini park - is heaven on earth x

The Hideaway is a wonderful place to stay while in Italy. It is close to some awesome hiking in the Sibillini National Park. My wife and I were able to day-hike to different places almost every day during our 10 day stay, and still missed out on some hikes we wished we had time to do. The rooms were comfortable and well-kept, and the patio overlooking the valley was a great place to enjoy a morning cappuccino that we made in the well-stocked kitchen or relax with a glass of the excellent local wines. Sarah and Mark are marvelous hosts and provide lots of information about what to see and do in the area. They booked a fabulous dinner for us at a neighboring agritourismo complete with seven courses, wine, after dinner drinks, and a view of the mountains under the rising moon. I highly recommend The Hideaway for hikers and others who are interested in a quiet, rural location that is close to some really great hiking and small villages.

We stayed with Sarah and Mark in June with our 5 month old son. They could not have been more accommodating, even providing a baby bath for him! Definitely recommend the upstairs apartment for families (we stayed a few nights in the one bedder downstairs and it was too small, but was our fault booking it). Very stylish and affordable accommodation. Lovely pool and outdoor furniture (Mark and Sarah have clearly gone to a lot of effort and expense in styling the estate). Very remote and peaceful location, stunning views of the mountains. Make sure you have a car as it is essential. Again I cant say enough about the hosts, they were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. They also went to great efforts in promoting Le Marche as a region, putting together a personal booklet with top tips of eating out, sight seeing, walks etc. Lovely touch. Le Marche is a great region, and a lot less touristy than the west side of Italy (Tuscany). We would stay again at the Hideaway should we visit from Australia.

Having been to Roma and Napoli this was my idea of heaven, no traffic, no tourists, no noise.
The peacefulness of the area was amazing, the green, the birds, the quietness. Our Hosts Mark and Sarah were wonderful. The carrot cupcakes, the home made jam, the little "bible" of where to go and where to eat and the facilities of the apartment just made our week wonderful.
I would recommend this to people who enjoy the country and just need to get away.
