“Jester little piece of paradise”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

We stopped at Jester House Cafe during a drive around the Tasman Coast on a beautiful sunny day. The garden sprinkled with picnic tables is lovely. Their ginger slice and savory muffins were proclaimed excellent and coffee very good. Eels in the adjacent stream, giant chess set on the lawn and other quirky elements make this an all round good choice.

“Still good after all these years ...”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

It's great to have a place where you know the food would be good no matter when you return.
We have been to Jester House since our boys were youngsters and is still the same.
Great outdoor surroundings, our boys used to love feeding the eels when they were little now they just eat huge amounts of food, great coffee and breakfast we'll be there tomorrow.

“Always a great place to take visitors and families”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

We took different visitors to Jester House every weekend for three weekends in a row over Oct & Nov 2012. Each one of our visitors were very impressed as we were too with the outstanding service, food and location.

Always a great place for families. Staff are always attentive, friendly and happy to please.

Lovely spot for outside dining especially in the sun as plenty of shade provided on those hot days. Kids love the eels!

“The Kids Love It Here”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

What can you say about the lovely garden surroundings you find yourself in on a lazy weekend enjoying a little sun, space, fresh air and great food. The menu at Jesters is not huge but we always find something new and tasty to munch on. The fruit salad goes down a treat with the kids too. If you are there at the right time you can feed the tame eels, squeals of anticipation/fear/delight echo up from the creek as the eels slide their way towards the dab of mince you are offering on a stick.
