Lived up to the previous reviews. This is a lovely part of New Zealand and Almyra is in a good location with wonderful views, well placed for Abel Tasman, winery visits etc. Fiona and Ron are lovely hosts and the accommodation is modern, clean and very well equiped. They have thought of everything from coffee machine with homemade brownies to private deck with sunloungers overlooking the water. We felt very relaxed and could happily have stayed for much longer.

Excellent location, particularly for the Abel Tasman National Park, Superb hosting and attention from Fiona and Ron. Be sure not to miss Fiona's Platter - it is unbelievably good! This up-market B&B simply cannot be faulted.

Almyra is situated near the Abel Tasman National Park. The accommodation was beautiful and clean. Even though the owners were not going to be there for the time we were staying, they still organised for us to stay there and made sure we were going to be well looked after. They organised an incredible platter for us to enjoy and organised all activities we wanted to do. They went well beyond the call of duty.
The property is beautiful and the views were breathtaking. We highly recommend for anyone travelling near the area to stay at Almyra - you will not be disappointed.

Almyra had been highly recommended to us, and it more than lived up to expectations. Fabulous location and stunning views; first class accommodation; very friendly and welcoming hosts. We liked it so much and this is such an interesting part of New Zealand that we extended our stay!

I stayed for 2 nights at Almyra in September and it is a stunning property - great rooms with unbelievable views of the mountains on one side, and the ocean on the other. This B&B has an incredible atmosphere and the hosts, Ron and Fiona, make you feel extremely welcome. The Almyra is in a perfect location for visiting the Abel Tasman and I would recommend visiting the local Mapua Wharf for a drink at sunset before heading back to Almyra for a meal platter and a glass of local wine on your private balcony. A great stay!
