Excellent location and views, , nothing is too much trouble for Stan and Jenny. Golf is available nearby and there is a pleasant outdoor area where the heated swimming pool is situated.

Free phone calls to landlines in UK and Australia is an added bonus

The breakfast is varied and cooked to order with flair and finesse. Fresh bread, fruit, yoghurt along with a a wide selection of hot food. This is our 2nd visit and hopefully not our last. If all host were like these people the world would be a much better place!

Room Tip: There are only 2 and both are excellent

Stayed here in late Sept for 3 nights during our rugby world cup travels. Great location, hosts and accommodation. A 30 minute drive from Nelson in wonderful countryside. Less than 5 minutes to fantastic beach walks. Plan to come back for more.

Room Tip: Abel Tasman boat trip and treck. Wine tasting!!

Everything was perfect. Hosts attentive and helpful, nothing was a bother, a very high standard of cleanliness and facilities. Sipping a glass of red wine in the spa pool as the sun was setting over the hills after a hard day of hiking was absolute bliss. Thanks Jenny and Stan.

We spent 4 nights at this beautifully designed and maintained boutique B&B. It was everything the website described and the friendly personal services of Jen and Stan, made it a truly outstanding 'treat' for Christmas. By the time we arrived we felt like good friends through the excellent communication and emails we had exchanged in preparation for our visit and our experience proved it to be one of our a highlights in a special 6 month journey around New Zealand.
The rooms are contemporary, designed with a personal flair and excellent attention to real comfort..not things done just for show, with a sitting room to relax in as well as our own private dining room and outdoor sitting space (not to mention the delightful pool, big enough to swim in and spa.) After travelling for 6 weeks, this was the perfect place to relax and feel special.
We were treated to delightful breakfasts, with some indulgences but also lovely fresh fruit, juices and breads daily and a kitchen space big enough to self 'cater' for BBQs and light refreshments during the day.

We were travelling as a couple and a friend and this arrangement provided privacey with shared space, Jen and Stan finding just the right balance of being there and helpful, but not intrusive. They helped us to find trips, restaurants and places to visit that made our trip to the area quite special. We cannot stress how much this place was uniquely perfect in everyway. We wish we had done it ourselves!!..and wish Jen and Stan all the best for the future.

What a lovely experience to stay at Wharetutu. Everything is top of the range and the whole property is very well designed. The design is a really good setup and would be ideal for 2 couples taking the whole B & B complex.
