The hotel is a very effective Bed & Breakfast within an easy drive of the Channel Ports and everywhere that you might need for a great weekend break or longer. It seemed a bit of a mystery on arrival in that you can only book in after 5pm and by 7-30pm, which became evident as clever and efficient staffing. I was booked in by Sandie, who spoke good English, not an assured thing in that part of Belgium.
They did not serve an evening meal, but had a clever arrangement with local restaurants within range, where the hotel would book space where you want to go, then drop you off and when you are finished at wherever you select, you would be brought back to the hotel. Access out of the restricted hours was simple.
Facilities were good for relaxing in peace and quiet and it was a good location to get out and about on foot or by bike. If there were any questions they seemed easily answered by a comprehensive handbook in the room. (Not the sort of thing you might assess, but it was the safest hotel-based free wifi I had encountered in a long time.
The proper continental breakfast at the end of my stay was enough to set me up for the day and heading home, vowing to return.
Price for a single person was quite expensive, but it was well worth it.

Sandie has been absolutely wonderful! My husband and I came to town on the chance of trying the Trappist beer and weren’t sure what else to do while in the area. The hotel is very nice. It’s modern, clean, quiet and cozy. This has been a very relaxing trip. We have been given really great suggestions for things to do and have not been disappointed! We could not have been more pleased with this visit. We would highly recommend this hotel. And we were able to have the beer at the cafe and even purchase a few to take home! It was fantastic by the way! Wonderful trip.

We needed somewhere to stay for a business meeting in Diksmuide, so we chose this hotel in nearby Westvleteren.

Charming house and garden in the centre of the village. Welcomed by The owner who quickly helped us sort out a nearby restaurant for dinner then personally drove us there so we could enjoy the beer!

Room was comfortable and very well equipped. Bed comfortable.

All in all, one of most pleasant stays I've enjoyed for quite a while

Since a few years we have celebrated a valentine weekend in this beautiful renovated presbytery !
The hostess Sandie is a top customer friendly woman !
Price quality is this one of the best small-scale hotels I know.
As soon you enter this hotel, you are warmly welcomed and you feel immediately like at home.
I strongly recommend this hotel, located in the village of world's best beer, to everyone.

We've stayed here for the weekend. There's a lot of interesting places to visit close by, for example local brewery's and the sea is close.

The hotel manager is a great person, very friendly and always in for a talk.

The local beers are served at the bar and coffee and tea is for free.

The rooms are spacious and very elegant.
The mini bar is filled with water which you can take for free.

WiFi works perfectly and TV is available in the room.

We would definitely stay here again!
