My family and I stayed 3 nights at this resort last week. We stayed in a Paris Lane and an Asawin room on the top floor of the hotel (3rd floor, no lifts). The rooms themselves were very clean and comfortable for a party of 6 ( including 3 children aged 9,8 and 4).

Apart from the excellent horse riding lessons we took every morning, we also rented bicycles and cycled around the resort, which was sprawling and included many stables and broods of chickens, ducks and geese reared "organically". Our city children were excited with the animals they saw, and feeding the foals was a definite highlight of their entire Pattaya trip.

We chose to split the trip equally between Horseshoe Point Resort and The Rabbit Resort, which was more downtown and of which we also stayed 3 nights. We are glad we have done so, as other than nature activities and riding lessons (which takes at most half a day), there was really not much else!

Somehow I had expected that there might be shows over the weekend, but there was none when we were there. We ate at the same restaurant for all our meals - it was their only restaurant. The food was decent though.

The reception desk was helpful but they lacked a proper tour desk with brochures and maps which we could rely on if we were to venture out on day trips.

The swimming pool water was dirty when we were there, so we did not really spend a long time at the pool, just quick dips to satisfy the kids. The pool bar, naturally, was empty.

There was no massage service in-house. The hotel kindly arranged for us to receive massage in our room, the masseuse were based a short distance away.

I will come back again only if I am a serious horse lover, as the resort falls short of my expectations of an all-rounded holiday experience for the family. That said, the riding school was excellent and professionally run. Advise to book in advance to secure your slots if you are on holiday.

We stayed in this hotel for one night in "a Sea Biscuit" room, which consists of one smaller room with twin beds and a bathroom equipped with a tub, and a connecting large room with a double bed, dining area and a kitchenette, but the bathroom had only a shower. The hotel has been built in 1999, and the rooms did not show a sign of any significant refurbishing since then. Everything was neat enough, but looked dated. The television was a small cathode ray tube set.

A buffet breakfast was included in the room rate. It was a mix of Continental breakfast and Thai dishes. It was decent if you like Thai food, but the Continental part was really limited and for instance orange juice was not available.

The hotel is in practice quite far from downtown Pattaya. It took us almost 20 minutes to drive from the Sukhumvit road to the hotel once we turned into the side street with the big "SIAM COUNTRY CLUB PATTAYA" gate. At night time the road is really poorly lit and our driver actually got lost when we were returning to the hotel after having a seafood dinner at Jomtien Beach.
This hotel is definitely not convenient if you plan to have any activities in Pattaya town.

As far as I can tell, the main attraction of this hotel are the activities around horse riding. They had a show jumping competition during the weekend on which we visited. Also other activities are available: we tried the Tree Top Adventure, ATV riding, archery, mountain bikes and water balls. These are scattered across the wide hotel grounds, but transportation is provided.

The hotel has a gym, but we did not use it. The swimming pool was quite large, but the water looked a bit murky. I was a bit worried about the possibility of an eye infection, but in the end nobody had any problems.

My impression of this place was that it was built as a four-star resort and still charges accordingly, but the product is now dated and not really worth the price. I would not visit this place unless you are there for riding horses. If that is your main interest, this probably is an excellent choice.

My family loved staying there and could easily transition from Ride Horses, Archery, ATV, Paintball, Golf, Ziplining from trees across a lake, to the beach at Pattaya just 10-15 minutes down the road. The food at the resort was second to none and almost everything you eat is grown on the resort grounds. The hotel is Eco Friendly but not at the expense of luxeries to the traveler.

Down sides are few and upsides are many. Perfect for a family "get away".

This is a great choice for a hotel in natural green grounds close to Bangkok. Just 12km away from the central Pattaya, if you fancy visiting the overcrowded beaches and attractions there, we loved the tranquility of this resort. There's lots to keep the whole family occupied..horse-riding for all levels (which this resort is well known for and reflected in the rooms being based around a riding arena), bike -riding, ATVs, archery, squash & tennis courts, small gym and lovely walks including to the Chinese themed grounds and amazing pagoda next door. Don't forget your camera! There's also a nice swimming pool and plenty of free sunbeds as this resort is not as well-known as it should be. It was very quiet when we went there, low key service, very relaxing and chilled. The 2 bedroom suite was comfortable enough but not plush, with a mini-kitchen, TV and the usual basics. It was rather dark owing to the design but cheap and clean. The restaurant served mainly Thai food but we found a really cheap outdoor Indian restaurant-bar on the huge lakeside nearby (need transport for this). The buffet breakfast was basic but ok, really delicious eggs. The hotel grows its own organic produce- all food was very tasty except the cheap processed meat in some dishes. Our kids aren't too keen on Thai food so we took our own supplies too, highly recommended for fussy eaters as the choice is limited. The kids loved this resort and found it a refreshing change to the usual overcrowded overpriced hotels in Pattaya. There is an interesting spanish themed bar there for the adults or a bar overlooking the pool with a pool table. Free high-spped internet is available in the lobby and a cheap pay-for service in some rooms. So, if you're looking for a cheap, chilled and natural resort, this one is highly recommended.

I read a lot of reviews and some of them where not especially good on Horseshoe Point.
But this is a really amazing place for Horse Lover.

I went there alone just to spend 4 days horse riding and it was a great stay.
The horse arena in the middle of the hotel make a really nice atmosphere.

The horse are really pampered, there is one stable man for 5 horses and they really take care of them. The horse there are in much more good care than all the stables I visited in France (where it is actually partially stable men and riders who take care of horses).

The teachers are really good, you have western and asian teachers. They make my stay really enjoyable. You can take private lesson or do trail in the really nice country side.

The hotel is comfortable, the people are really helpful.
It could be a little noisy (I went there during a Rugby tournament), but for those who loves quiet atmosphere, there is also an Eco Village within the HorseShoe Point domain, which is isolated from the noise. But anyway, I have not been so much disturbed as they were stopping the noise quite early (10 pm).

You can also do something else apart from horse riding (mountain bike, there is a tree top adventure place, and also some hiking in the country side).

Really, I loved this place!
