The atmosphere alone at this restaurant is worth the trip. Sit by the seashore, enjoy a drink and dinner. The prices are a little bit high and the service is a little bit slow, but the food is good. RELAX.

Been coming here for years.It used to be really good but has gone down hill since.
Came here with my wifes family in November.It was just ok.We came here twice this last trip in january.First time half way through our food we were presented with the bill.They said they were closing because of a staff party.No mention of this when we came in.
Fair enough we didn't want to spoil there party.Put that down to being bad timing and being one of those things.The second time we went was a nightmare.We had a table of 4.My wife is thai and some of the staff don't understand or speak thai.We ordered our food and my wife ordered a fish dish and a oyster dish.We had all finished our food when my wife fish dish came.They said they had no oysters though.We had been there nearly 2 hours and just about to leave when they said they they had oysters all the time and had forgot her order and did we still want the dish.We said no.The place was only a third full.
It used to be always full with thai families.Maybe they've got the message how bad its got.Its got quite expensive as well.Doubt we will be back here.

First of all,however you get there arrange for them to take you back.
Return taxi,songtaew double whatever you paid to get there.
Spacious dining area,but air conditioning is erratic.
Good Thai music.
The menu is extensive ,so quickly decide the type of food you want ,then focus on cooking style .
Fish,shrimp snd steamboat prawns ,heavenly.
Watch the Canadian Gags trick show on the widescreen ,as you will wait and wait....
But the food is worth waiting for .

I came to this restaurant on Sunday after 1:00pm...Boy what a big mistake!! Place was full service was sucked!! They sat us at the end very hard to get service on top of it server not really thai either he’s from Myanmar or Cambodia not so sure, got my order wrong! We finished our lunch and 3rd dish just served what the heck! My orders were only 3 plates bill run about 1,500 baht...Oh I forgot to mention while we’re eating large size of crab fries rice (500 baht) we found a piece of metal dish scrubber in crab fried rice we told server all he and she said we’re sorry and we’re just servers! We were sorry More because we lost our appetite Overall BAD Service, Food Was OKAY ,Over Priced , Not Sanitized

I went to Moom Aroi during dinner service and the place was almost packed with reservations, if you're coming in a big group, please make a reservation beforehand if not you'll need to wait for a table to be available. Service wise, it was prompt, only if you can get the attention of their wait staff. I don't blame them as the dining area was huge and they were all busy running around taking orders and serving tables. There was a live band entertaining the restaurant goers.

Food wise, the menu was in both English and Thai, and it was extensive. Ranging from western cuisine to thai staples, and of course, seafood. I ordered a variety of dishes, such as, Goong Pao (bbq river shrimp), Orh Suan (oyster egg omelette), Hae Jaw (deep fried dollops of crab dumplings), and Pla Muk Neung Manao (steam squid in lime sauce). The order took awhile to come due to busy dinner service but once served, it was served all at once. The seafood were very fresh, especially the river shrimp which was full of shrimp head butter goodness.

If you're looking for good dinner place, especially with a group of friends, I would recommend Moom Aroi for their fresh and inexpensive seafood.
