Underwater World was a nice morning activity with my 3 & 4-y.o. kids. We arrived around 11 am on a Sunday over a Thai long weekend, and by noon, the place was a bit crowded for small kids. It's not the most amazing or extensive of aquariums (much smaller and less fancy compared to Siam Ocean World...but also less expensive), but has a long, winding, one-way corridor that takes you past all the displays and through a long underwater tunnel that we and the kids enjoyed. Perhaps not recommended if you are claustrophobic.
There wasn't much information about the fish or the info was rather sporadic (my favourite panel titled "Ray's anatomy" had only one label for "gill" and that was it), and one tank of tropical fish were feeding on a whole Chinese cabbage (!), but I found these to be amusing quirks.
I don't know if I'd go again, unless the kids really want to and we have nothing better to do...
