This trip was an excellent day out. We arrived and were soon aboard the Misty Isle heading over to Loch Coruisk. Before we departed Elgol we were given a very interesting safety briefing by the crew, James and Ian. When we arrived we slowed down to view the seals on the rocks, pregnant females ready for giving birth. On going ashore we had a wander up to the loch and had a look around, not much wildlife, although we saw three hinds. On the way back we were treated to tea, coffe or a drink and biscuits. We were also treated to a musical interlude on the way there and back. A group of young musicians played fiddle and guitar and also sang a Skipinish song for us.thoroughly enjoyable, I can recommend it to anyone to do.

Took a trip on Misty Isle to Loch Coruisk as the Nahlin ....a luxury yacht. .....now owned by Dyson was moored in Loch Scavaig..... my husbands grandfather used to work on her in the 1930s...There was also another couple whose father worked on it at the same time on the trip. James the skipper very kindly took us very close to get photos.....A very enjoyable day, lovely scenery, lots of seals lying on the rocks and a very pleasant and helpful crew. Would definately recommend this trip.

We recently started our traverse of the Cuillin Ridge from Loch Coruisk, so were using the Misty Isle boat as more of a taxi than an outing in itself, but we were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. A very friendly, exceptionally knowledgeable skipper ably supported by the ship's dog showed us local landmarks and plenty of seals, all with associated tales and fables. Need to take a longer trip next time....

Took the trip with Misty Isle Boat Trips to Loch Coruisk. Sea Eagle spotted on the way. Ones at the destination ample time to explore area on foot. Unmatchable views of Loch and mountains. On the way back enjoyed tea and snacks on the boat.

Our group of four had a wonderful trip across to the landing and the hike to Loch Coruisk recently on a mid-week day in the mid-afternoon. What beautiful scenery along the shoreline and surrounding mountains! Our trip from Elgol to the Loch was uneventful with some wind and choppy seas expertly navigated by the skipper. Just a slight bit of sea spray over the windward (the "port"or left side of boat) side. On our return the wind was a bit stiffer and the waves bigger. The guests from Wales were singing some of their favorite songs when whoosh a small but very wet wave came over the windward (the "starboard" or right side) side and many of the guests sitting on the edge seats of the boat got "a wee bit wet" much their surprise and the rest of our
Delight! The captain and the crew apologized profusely but it really was not any of

their fault; "It's just boating mate! " So all enjoyed the trip some a bit wetter than others. So if it is windy or threatening weather wear some rain gear- jacket and pants and have fun!We did!
