We had stayed here around 2007 and really enjoyed our time but then read some alarming reviews after that so we stayed away for a while. Then we found that it was for short period of time and then the reviews improved again. So we decided to venture here again this August. We really enjoyed our stay though the service was a bit random. We stayed in an ocean facing pool villa and the villa was just as beautiful as we remembered and the complete privacy with the pool and a view is so rare to come by, we enjoyed it immensely. The service as I mentioned was a bit random with people not turning up to clean up for most of the day even after repeated reminders. We really had to be diligent about calling them in the morning as we walked out to breakfast so that they would come clean, otherwise we ended up waiting around for people to clean most of the afternoon. I got the feeling that the cleaning and dining were under staffed. On the whole though, the experience was almost as good as I'd remembered. We'd definitely consider going there again over some of the more expensive ones we have tried in Phuket sheerly for the complete privacy and also proximity to the airport. Makes a nice easy get away even for just a long weekend.

Room tip: The ocean view villas are awesome but I think it would be better to get a room higher up (above 9?) we stayed in 7 this time and it does look onto some other villas in the distance which was a bit of a drawback. The last time we stayed I believe around 13 and it had unobstructed view out to ocean.

This was our 4th visit to the Pavilions, we decided this time to stay in the Pool and Spa Villas, found out we had been upgraded to the Penthouse Pool and Spa Villas. OMG it was AMAZING, I could rabbit on and on about the place, please make a booking you will certainly not regret it:)

Eastland is fantastic - nice lap pool
360's outstanding
Breakfast - Very nice
Cooking Class - very informative - took the information back and tried out skills at cooking
Roll in 2013 for our 5th visit. Thanks to all the staff who made our stay so memorable.

We did leave with a tan :)

Room tip: If you like the ocean - grab an Ocean Pool Villa - Pool and Spa Villas face towards the hill - all rooms and view are great you won't be disappointed either way.

I visited this week in Spa & Pool Pavilion from 21st to 24th (yes I still here, I can't wait to write a comment to share), actaually I quite dispoint for the following points:

1. The pool quite small and very very noisy, I don't know is it a water system, but if close the window it much better.
2. The sala REALLY DIRTY, I even don't want to touch it. It really cannot be accepted in a Pool Villa
3. Staff are polite but not friendly.
4. Food not good enough (I not yet try the dinner) for breakfast, tea, welcome desert, all is standard only, don't expect too much for the taste.
5. There is some dead insects in kitchenette
6." All rooms are air-conditioned and sliding doors allow for uninterrupted views of the lush valleys"<<the discription and 360 tour shown in the web site is a lie NO VIEW AT ALL!!

On the other hand there is still have some points very impressive:
1. location: many bamboo surrond
2. the view of restaurant, reception is fanastic.
3. the bath room and spa room is perfect
4. the amenities are perfect
5. size of bed and sofa are huge and really comfortable.
6. welcome flower and the wine for honey moon is sweet.

In conclusion, I won't come back, the cleaness cannot be accepted for a 5 star hotel. the discription of the view is really a lie (maybe because my room in the loest level), it make me very dispointted and angry. I previous visit another villa, under the comparison, The Pavilions not good enough as a luxury villa as the web site discript.

Room tip: higher level maybe better

Dear Reader,

In first place I would like to thank our valued guest for taking the time to share their comments and suggestions.
We take our customers’ feedback very seriously as it assists us in continuously improving our product and services, with the aim of meeting and were possible exceeding their expectations.

At The Pavilions, Phuket we provide a diverse range of accommodation solutions, each of them tailored to fulfill our guests’ need for privacy and comfort. Our Spa and Pool Pavilions, set within a terraced hillside, enjoy a view of the sweeping valley and the lush tropical landscape, whereby the outlook may vary from one villa to another according to its specific location.

Our restaurants and in-villa dining service offer a variety of food options, including Western favorites and local Thai specialties, and our Chef is delighted to cater for special culinary requests or individual dietary requirements.

I would also like to reassure our readers that the mentioned shortfalls affecting cleanliness and service delivery have been promptly addressed to avoid similar reoccurrences in the future.

We are pleased to read that this guest enjoyed other aspects of our love retreat, as we constantly strive to provide our guests a memorable experience, pairing a unique product with our signature services.

We went for a long weekend. Our stay was nice but the hotel is nothing extraordinary.

The rooms are enormous and spacious. There is a private pool as well.

The set-up of the property is odd. There is a pool area but it's not well-located vis à vis the rest of the property and was always empty when we went. The roof-top bar is nice, with nice views, and you must take a buggy to get up there.

The buggy drivers were really nice.

We ate every morning and evening at the hotel. Breakfasts were nice. Good staff. Dinners were sporadic. There were not many diners and the staff was awkward. Some took a while to get their attention (even when we were the only diners) and others would talk too much, perhaps because they themselves were bored.

There is a hotel that purports to be 5 star but is not there. Here is one example. Yes, it's nice and fine. But, it misses the mark on service, quality and ambience that a true 5-star creates.

Dear Reader,

We appreciate our guests’ feedback and are always grateful that they take the time to share their experience at The Pavilions, Phuket.

We strive to provide a tropical hideaway dedicated to couples who are looking for an intimate haven where to spend precious time together and enjoy one another.
As such the majority of our guests cherish the seclusion and comfort of our villas, where couples can bask in the privacy of their very own infinity pool, share an intimate dinner experience or indulge in a rejuvenating Spa ritual.

The pool area refereed to by the guest is part of The Eastland, a charming open air restaurant and bar overlooking a lake, located in the heart of the tropical forest, where guests can choose to venture out of their villa for a late lunch or a swim in our lap pool.

We have well noted the comments concerning service delivery and have taken the necessary corrective action to ensure that our guests profit from the best of Thai hospitality, renown for its attentive yet unobtrusive service with a smile.

In conclusion we are pleased to read that these guests enjoyed their weekend gateway and look forward to welcoming you to our romance destination.

Loved The pavillions - total privacy, calmness and pure luxury.

All Villas have their own private pool and also your own private "massage treatment room" - so you don't actually have to leave the comfort of your villa to be pampered.

Restaurants all great with good quality food - prices are as you woul expect of a 5* luxury resort.

Pavillion car will take you to Layan Beach and collect you too.

Plan to go bakc hopefully soon

Note - if you enjoy peace & quite with no loud entertainment The pavillions is for you
