“Incomplete NOT 5 Star”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2014

The design and view is great but the place is not complete . Yes we got a great price through Our Deal . Sadly ones holiday week is short and here was no life NO pool bar no café and a long way from beach and activity . Tell people that there are teething issues ?? The apartments were advertised as having all mod cons yes they were spacious and stylish but a DVD player and CD player would have made some nice additions for in room comfort .Our air con flooded the room when on for the first two days, it was unusable for two days and the aircon in the bedroom had no remote and had to operated by standing on a chair . Both Air cons were very loud. The TV was great if you came from Europe not what Aussies want .

It will be very nice one day !!!!

Room Tip: Make sure Air con works well .

Sorry about the problem with the aircon during your stay. We did fix it as soon as was possible and offer you a change of room.

We have food available all day everyday served to the room or by the pool. We don't specifically have a cafe as we are a serviced apartment not hotel development. Maybe in the future this is something we could add.

Thanks for your feedback and thanks for staying

Difficult to say what these apartments might end up being. Nice apartments, well appointed, good finishes though lots of little things could be better. It is a long way from anything and thus you will need transport - food options are severely limited, the breakfast seems reasonable and delivered to your room and that is where it ends. Any option re dinner is brought from a partner restaurant at the beach and thus dubious food hygiene! Limited replenishment occurred during our stay for any of the items provided in the room - coffee is only available as a paid item thru capsules provided in the room at 80Thb each. No fresh mile is provided. Limited quantities of tea bags are available. and I think 3 sachets of sugar for a 7 day stay isn't adequate. No water was provided with the room which is a major negative. I know that these are minor things but when trying to hit a certain price point in the market, they count! The gym seems to be adequate and very unused! The views are across land to a distant sea view. The pool is very nice and frequently free from guests. Staff are typically Thai - helpful but with little authority to assist, little english and little help! We did enjoy our stay as we found options to keep us occupied. TV is limited in choice though well represented in news channels but not much else.

We are glad that you enjoyed the apartment here at Sansuri.

Our daily housekeeping should replace any items such as water and sugar which are complimentary during your stay. I apologize if they were not replenished in your room often enough.

In terms of transport we have onsite concierge offering a shuttle to either Bangtao beach or Surin beach at any time of day which both offer lots of restaurants and activities.

Our evening meals are provided by one of the top restaurants in Phuket and served in the rooms. This allows us to have food available from 6am to 10pm every day and great care is taken to ensure it is served fast and hygenically.

We hope you will come back to visit, once again sorry about the small negatives that you have mentioned.

A very nice Condo set up. Although too early to write a comprehensive review as the building is far from finished. The apts. are well built and reasonably well appointed. For those wanting to self cater they need to include a few more basics in the kitchen area, garbage bags, tea towels, dish cloth etc.
0n arrival,tea,coffee,milk etc would be a fair assumption,but nothing!!
You will need transport be it car or scooter as they are out of Surin.
Signage and directions need to be addressed as they are not easy to find coming from the airport.
Staff as usual are friendly and helpfull.

Just checked out of Sansuri after a 4 month stay. They were newly opened when I first got there and with some work still being done on site it was a bit annoying at times. Today as I check out it has actually been transformed and I am sad to be leaving. The size of the rooms and my nice sea view made it feel even better than home. Farewell Sansuri I hope to be back!

Just spent 7 days in February at Sansuri and was amazed at the apartment. We had a ground floor 2 bedroom which had nearly a direct swim up to our room. The lovely girl who checked us in showed me around the apartment and always had a smile on her face. The resort is still being finished but in no way did this detract from enjoying our stay. It is an easy walk to the main beach at Surin with lots of lovely eating places along the way. Thanks to all the staff and to Peter for making sure all was as it should be.

We recently stayed at these appartments from 22/1/2014 for 7 nights. The appartments were fantasically spacious very comfortable - some of the rooms were not finished but there was no noise or inconvienence to us. I had the pool to myself & used it daily wonderfully large loved this! Easy walk to both Surin & Bang Toa Beaches heaps of places to eat. The staff were great there was a little bit of a language problem but we always managed to get around this as Peter the manager made himself avaliable. Another mention was the driver very helpful took us on a trip around big budda, temple, elephant ride & tiger temple this is a must do the best experience & the animals were well treated too. Overall had a great rip would we go back yes definately! Mandy & Paul

My partner and I found a great deal on Groupon 4 months prior to our arrival in Phuket. We knew the hotel apartments were brand new and that we were among a few staying at the resort for its opening. It is promoted on some sites as a 5 star but it would be fair to say that at present I would rate it a 3.5 star as the hotel has not yet been completed.

Sanauri kindly picked up the bill for our airport transfer which was a nice touch and unexpected. I was however surprised upon arrival that the hotel was not finished and building work was still going on. It was not a building site as such, just a number of apartments were unfinished, gym area was not ready, stairwells had cable and wires exposed and the bar area was not ready for guests.

The staff are friendly & welcoming, although it was hard to communicate when asking questions. You could tell the staff were finding their feet.

Our one bed apartment was beautiful & very spacious, lovely soft towels, large balcony overlooking the pool area. However it did lack the 5 star amenities.
Plenty of cutlery and pots and pans but useless as the cooking stove was small & the conventional microwave oven was also tiny!! All the boxes for the new appliances were left in the cupboards, TV only had 10 Chanel's not 16, not all the plug sockets worked.

We ordered food to the room on our first night, which arrived cold & not very presentable.

Sansuri offer a shuttle bus to take you to Surin beach. It took us about 10-15mins to walk but handy for a ride home after a late dinner on the beach. This will cost you 100BHT one way.

The operations manageress offered us a complimentary breakfast on Boxing Day, which we gladly accepted with thanks. To our surprise three servings of breakfast was brought to our room!!
My partner and I thought they must of have made a mistake and didn't think any more of it. An hour later I left my partner in the apartment whilst I went to the shops. on my return my partner informed me that the extra breakfast was deliberate, and the manageress had sat down to her cold breakfast to discuss whether on not we would be interested in a timeshare!!!!

Overall for the price we paid, Sansuri was nice. If I had paid the now advertised prices then I would have been very disappointed. I do believe with time, feedback and once the hotel is fully operational it will meet its 5 star potential.
