“Food is average”
Reviewed July 30, 2014

Went to the place on the 29th of July with my family. They picked us up and dropped us off from a and to accommodation. I quite like the atmosphere, but the food taste was average. We tried white bait salad, it was the only meal that we really enjoyed that night. My daughter order egg noodle soup with shrimp wonton and morning glory and soft shell crab. Soft shell crab with salt and pepper was not crispy, as I could imagined. however the waitress were friendly, but the service is a bit slow. drink were expensive.

“average food, lots of mosquitoes”
Reviewed July 29, 2014

We had dinner here. The food was average, lots of mosquitoes around and is relatively expensive. You find better restaurants nearby.

“Nice food, reasonable prices”
Reviewed July 27, 2014

We as a family, four adults and one child had dinner here.
Ordering was slightly confusing, the menu was very extensive with plenty of choice for all tastes and the food was delicious.
The Restaurant was very busy but we received our meals promptly.
We enjoyed our time at this restaurant and were driven back to our hotel by the very nice French owner.

“Average food with expensive drinks”
Reviewed July 26, 2014

Went here a few nights ago after reading so many positive reviews. We walked in and immediately noticed that it was mostly full of foreigners (non-Thai) so I was immediately skeptical. This place is popular with families and older men with their girlfriends of the week. Almost no local Thais. We ordered a few dishes and they were just okay. Tom Yum Gung was good, as was the fried squid with garlic. Steamed squid with lemon had nearly no taste, though. The menu is huge - the biggest I've ever seen in a restaurant so I don't know how they could possibly be able to cook everything well. Drinks are expensive. A can of coke costs 55 baht! Beers (even the local ones) are triple the price of 7-11. Probably won't be back.

For your information, local Thais, including wife or girlfriend of foreigners living here, and not for the week like you said not nicely, represents a significant proportion of our customers since 18 years. i have nothing else to say to someone who complain that drinks are more expensive in a restaurant that in supermarket. Enjoy 7/11!

“Good place to eat or for takeaway”
Reviewed July 26, 2014 via mobile

Enjoying holiday in a holiday villa we (family of 6) often did call Black Cat to deliver Thai food (but also Pizza). Food is great and service fast, pricing reasonable. Would definitely recommend to eat @BlackCat or order takeaway (or use the delivery service will not willing to leave the pool :) )
