My family of five just returned from here. The check-in was efficient, and they greeted us with drinks and cool towels.

We had connecting rooms which overlooked the ocean. Each room had a sitting area which was actually a "lying area" with two mats that looked out the window toward the ocean. The bathrooms, which were huge, had a separate shower and tub(which could hold at least two people).

There are three pools, and the children's pool is actually connected to the largest pool. There is a small water slide for the kids.

The Italian restaurant and Seafood Market are both very good, but pricey. The breakfast buffet was varied and included with our room.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel, but the food is expensive. Since the resort is on the Northern part of the island, eating options are limited.

Never have my family and I been exposed to such a hospitable environment. We could not have counted to 15 upon our arrival to the hotel before we had a refreshing beverage in hand, flower leis around our necks and soothing live Thai music coming from the infinity pool. This surely was a foreshadowing of things to come. Having been around the world to many places, this was hands-down the finest vacation experience my family and I have ever been a part of.

Stayed here a week as part of honeymoon. The place blew me away. Beautiful resort, I didn't want to leave. It is fairly isolated but the shuttle bus to Patong Beach is cheap and runs at good times. To be honest you don't need to leave this place unless you are looking for noisy nightlife. It has everything you need and very relaxing. The restaurants are good and not too pricey. If you fancy staying in your room you can get room service or get some food & drink from the cafe deli. There is even a decent enough DVD library there. Staff are very friendly. They are also building an extension including a new pool, restaurant & bar so its going to be even better!!!! Go now!

We just returned from this property. It was better than expected. The service was great. The landscape architecture of this resort is really impressive, so much so that they offer a resort photo tour! The villas were incredibly spacious. The 3 pools each offer something different. The newest one just opened, and it is a modern twist on the Thai architecture. It looks like it could be at the Mondrian or The Palms in LV.

The spa suites are stunning. We have traveled the world and these are the best spa suites we've ever seen. The spa treatments are mostly couples suites, so you can have your massages or treatments together. The prices are still less than US resort spa prices, but more than other Asian spas. The Thai massage is about $70 for a 90 minute massage, so you can't complain too much about that.

They are supposed to be finishing a couple new buildings soon as well, including a new cooking school. The resort offers a bunch of free activities, as well as some that are at a modest cost. These are great opportunities, such as cooking classes, intro to Thai massage, pilates mat classes, Thai dancing and flower arranging.

The prices for food are quite cheap for a resort of this caliber as well. We were there for 4 nights and will definitely go back.
