We found this restaurant while staying at the Marriott Beach Club. We had gone out for a walk around the local lake and found a row of 5 local restaurants. It was pouring with rain so we decided to stop for lunch. It is run by local people and all the food is freshly cooked, served hot and very fresh. Lots of choice but all Thai influenced. They will make. Dish less spicy if you prefer. There is a lovely view over the lake. Lunch for 4 was 600 baht!
We enjoyed it so much that we went back for dinner a couple of days later and it was equally good.
If you're staying at the Marriott, Sala or Renaissance then. Make the effort to get out of the hotels, and their expensive food, and try these restaurants. We haven't been to any of the others but I'm sure they are equally good.
