Had my anniversary dinner at this restaurant. The ambience was very nice, guests eating there do dress up which makes it more pleasant. A presentation of the difference kinds of salt was provided at our tableside. Selected salts were shown and explained how it was made and how we can use it to enhance the flavour of the foods we ordered. 4-5 different types of bread were available and with different dips provided.
For starters we had the seafood chowder which was filled with creamy soup with chunks of fish, clams, crabs... Very tasty! A special treat was the himalayan salt which was cut into slabs and used to cook our steak. The salt imparted a nice bite to the steak. Really enjoyed ourselves.
For desserts, the mango sticky rice was served with green colour rice which tasted very good. Not like the usual ones we had in Phuket.
Its not cheap but the quality of the food and ambience was well worth it.
