Stayed here for 4 nights. The service in Anantara is second to none. Some big five stars hotels are too over attentive while in Anantara, it feels like you are part of the family. They go out of their ay to try and meet your every need.
When checking in, we were asked what type of pillows we prefer and even the type of aromatherapy scent we wanted for our room. There is a private pool for every villa and there is also a huge main pool that is lovely to spend the afternoon at. The rooms are big and spacious. There is an outdoor and indoor shower, outdoor dining area by your own private pool. And the compound is big. It almost seems like we are on our own most of the time.
Breakfast is fantastic, with lots of food, even organic ones, to choose from. The breakfast area is by a pond with ducks swimming by as you eat. We usually skip breakfast but not at Anantara. They also have a nice treetop bar for the evening cocktail. I an totally at peace during my stay with the calm surrounding and the exceptional service.
The area where the hotel is situated , is a bit far from town or other activities. It is best if you have your own rented car to move around. But as it is far off, the beach is quiet and lovely.
I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back on the next trip to Phuket
