On a recent visit to the Black Forest region my husband and I spent two nights at this guesthouse. We can highly recommend it to other travelers. Our room was spacious and spotless, with a great balcony. The location and the edge of a nice little village was perfect for us. We hadn't planned on using the public transportation pass provided to us at Gastehaus Obsthof, because we had a rental car; however, Marei (our hostess) sat down with us to help us make plans. She explained the rail system to us, showed us train schedules, and even told us what platforms we'd need to use in Freiburg. We had a very interesting day and it was so much nicer than driving the mountain roads would have been.
The breakfast Marei served was top-notch. I'd recommend the train station restaurant that the family also runs. The food was so good at Gerome's that we had dinner there both nights and lunch there the day we checked out.
