We have just returned from spending eight nights here. We made our reservation directly with the hotel and the telephone service we got was second to none. The lady spoke perfect English and on arrival at the hotel we were offered a cool drink whilst our cases were taken directly to our room. Our room was exactly as we had asked for on a high floor and a great sea view, looking toward the port of Alcudia.

Staff at this hotel are very friendly & helpful with nothing being too much trouble. We were a little concerned to find the restaurant was a buffet which we are not used to at the hotels we normally holiday at. We need not of worried as the choice was extensive. The salad, cheese & desert bars were all wonderful and all the fish & meat choices were freshly cooked at the grill exactly to your liking. There was a menu choice of 3 dishes at dinner you preferred to have table service. The breakfast was a vast array of fruits, cereals, cold meats and beautiful breads. There was also a chef to prepare omelettes, eggs etc for a full English breakfast.

The pool area & gardens were very relaxing and a lovely sandy long beach which was a welcome point of exercise after a 4 course dinner every night! The evening entertainment of which was on every night of our stay was excellent. There was a good variety of musicians, circus acts & flamenco, we always enjoyed the show.

Our only complaint was that unfortunately there was a seaweed problem for a few days in the sea and along parts of the beach (unfortunately in front of the hotel) which made it not a pleasant experience going for a swim. This was being cleared up the day we were leaving so at least we were impressed that something was being done.

To sum up we had a lovely holiday staying at this hotel & would return again if visiting Mallorca.

Room Tip: Ask for a premium room with a sea view. Some of the rooms have too many trees which mar the view.

Stayed for 8 nights on late season sunshine break. Hotel is, in my opinion, 4 star UK standard. The staff are without doubt the main asset to this hotel, nothing is too much trouble and service is always with a smile.

The hotel is situated about 500m from bars and restaurants that provide alternative to hotel fare, however on half board accommodation they are hardly needed. The food choices within hotel both for breakfast and evening meal are more than delicious, they inspire.

Hotel facilties are as advertised however the Spa facility is certainly exceptional. My wife had professional beauty therapy treatments carried out to an extremely high standard by Briggete.

The pool area is just fine with plenty of sun loungers and chairs. Previous reviewers have remarked on the almost customary practice of reserving loungers irrespective of need or hotel requests not to do so. It is more fun, I think ,to observe and speculate on the reasons for this behaviour rather than get wound up by it! Far less stressful.

The beach is brilliant. Clean sand, parasols and beds for hire and a long shallow introduction into the warm waters.

We spent 10 nights here half board after a holiday in Greece in another 5 star hotel but the experience here was so different. For one thing, the staff at this hotel are so friendly and the food was fantastic.

The beach was also gorgeous and great for people with children as the water stays shallow for ages. The sand is fine, white sand so the water is that fabulous turquoise colour.

If you want a shade and sun lounger, you have to find one that doesn't already have stickers on. Sit yourself down and the wee guy will eventually appear asking for payment. I think it was €10 for 2 beds and a shade per day. You can book a block of days. There is a Spar shop 30 seconds from the hotel (turn left when you exit hotel) where you can buy floats etc.

We had read that mosquitos can be a problem in that area because of the canals but we had no problems at all. We had rooms facing the pool. I would not recommend the canal side.

The only negative I have to say is there was an occasional waft of eggs on the beach; no idea where it was coming from.. we made up a song; 'Sitting On The Yolk Of The Bay'....

If you want excellent service, food and a great, not-too-busy beach, this place is fantastic. It is situated sort of in the middle of nowhere in terms of towns. Alcudia is approximately 10 minutes taxi ride north (costs @€12) and Can Picafort is about the same to the south. For wandering around a town, I would recommend Can Picafort over Alcudia..which we thought was a bit of a dump to be honest..full of neds (chavs)... Or the old town part of Alcuda was nice but a bit of a ghost town at night.

So, excellent food, service and beach...don't expect a stroll along a promenade to a quaint town for ice cream.. we were fine with this as we only wanted the rest and sunshine.

Hope this helps!

Room Tip: Facing the beach and/or sea... Not the canal side...

Arrival and check in was delt with efficiently and in a very friendly manner, but then this is a Gman hotel chair so would expect nothing less. A welcome drinks was provided and as our suite was not ready we were advised that e could get lunch at bistro Blau Mar overlooking beach. Great location, good choice of food, wine and with a great view down across the sand to the sea and beyond.

Reception staff came to fund us while we were having lunch to advise our room was ready. Nice touch. We were showed to our suite 3005. Very spacious. Two full bathrooms, bath is as other trip reports have said, very narrow and not very long. I'm only 5' 8" and could not stretch out..there was a large lounge with tv, mini bar and sofa which converts to bed. Room ideal for 4 sharing as separate bathroom with access to wrap around balcony.  Located on the ground floor it turned out to be a bit noisy from floors above as a result of marble floors throughout. One sun lounger! A table and two chairs were on the terrace with a view out across beach to sea. Twin beds were shoved together. Would have been nice to have had a double as twins kept separating. If paying supplement for a suite. Ask for one on top floor overlook the sea.

If staying in hotel and not a suite, ask for rooms in block number 1 and ask for top floor as these overlook pool and out to sea.

Sent email prior to arriving requesting iron and boar, this was waiting in our room.

Dinner buffet style, initial choice was good, but not as good as other 5* Spanish hotels. They tended to start laying up for breakfast from 9pm when in theory you can still dine until 9:30!!! a little off-putting and made you feel you were being rushed. They also at this time started taking in food off the buffet, so if you did arrive late there was not always a full choice.

Their is a menu option each night, but it only has a choice of three mains. Again efficient service, a little too efficient at times with plates being taken before you had finished.

Entertainment every night. Mixed and of a very good standard.

Hotel appears at about 70% capacity with a very high percentage of Germans. Average age range is 45+ some children, but again Germans.

Good choice at breakfast.

Pool not too busy, a few spare beds, but people still felt the need to reserve them, despite the signs requesting you not too. Sun beds mostly on grass, Nice change from hot concrete. Pool service for drinks and snacks. William is very good, walking around after about 1pm. Two large cokes 10 euros!!

Pool was very busy with children in second week. People took to sitting within the grounds for a bit of quiet!! Lots of air beds and other floating toys. Kids jumping off rocks around pool. Surprised lifeguard did not stop this. Hotel appeared full and as a result pool area feels crowded, especially as families tend to reserve all the beds surrounding the pool edge.

Think hotel needs to be more proactive in monitoring the pool area and if necessary enforcing it's rules to ensure all guests can enjoy the pool and gardens

Life guard on duty evry day. Very observant. Constantly walking around.

Sunday is Spanish night. Oh my god we thought!!! But this was done with style.
Entertainment was a flamenco show. Not your typical holiday entertainment. This was both professional and varied as was all of the entertainment.

Bike hire from hotel reception. 12 euros a day per bike. Not as cheap as others maybe, but bikes were brand new

You can hire a kettle for use in your room along with an assortment of other things to make your holiday complete.

Supermarket just outside hotel on left. Usual high prices for the convenience of it, but they have a good stock of your essentials.

Bistro is good for lunch. But you pay hotel prices. You can dine there for dinner on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, but you have to make a reservation directly with the Bistro. Dinner at Bistro Mar Blau Is a set menu 19 euros, which is included if on half board  Food is presented to a very high end restaurant style, and was of good quality.

Beach is clean, small pockets of seaweed. Very sandy and clear water. You can walk out a long way before you get out of your depth. 10 euros for 2 beds and umbrella per day.  Usual people offering back and neck massage for 10 euros and sunglasses sellers. Not a nuisance. Can pay 60 euros for 7 day beach bed hire in advance instead of 70 euros if you pay daily

We took a taxi to Pollenca, cost 24 euros. There is a bus service, right outside the hotel, but it was very busy with long queues. Lovely resort, nice restaurants and beach.

We hired a car from the hotel, Car hire hotel, a mini convertible 2 days - Lluc Sanctuary well worth a visit, but get there early. Also Soller Port and the beach at Font de SA Carla very nice for days out.

Reception staff first class. Nothing to much trouble. FT ordered for us and delivered to room daily. One evening it was raining so we asked for a pack of cards, they had none, so sent out for a pack for us.

If you cross over road from hotel. Turn right, halfway across bridge is entrance to Albufera National Park. Be warned it closes at 5pm winter and 6pm summer. A bit early, but it is for the conservation of the wildlife. Follow route 3 for an 11 kilometre cycle ride. It's mostly flat, bit bumpy in places and take lots of water. To walk route 3 they estimate 3hrs.

Entertainment every night except Thursday. Varied and of quite good quality. If you want a break from the entertainment there is no place to sit outside ! You are left only with the inside bar which is large and rather lifeless. Would be nice if the hotel opened up the Blau Mar that way people could enjoy the evening air. .

In closing would say that some elements of the hotel are five star, but overall would say its a high end four star. Food in restaurant can be limited, repetitive and boring if you are staying two weeks and with only the Blau Mar Bistro as your only other dining choice, rather limiting. If the hotel if not busy then it has a gently, relaxed feel, but when it gets busy it is run with German efficiency.

The staff are excellent. Anna, William and Carol are just a few of the team that made us feel very welcome.

Sad to say would not not back as we have stayed at much better five star hotels in Majorca.

Room Tip: If staying in a suite, as for top floor, best views and quieter as you have no one above. If not sta...

Stayed here 2 years ago and had a great time. Returned early August this year and once again enjoyed a very relaxing holiday.

On both occasions we had a suite with two bathrooms which was comfortable and very spacious. Housekeeping is very efficient, with exception of turn-down which is a bit hit and miss.

On our previous visit we stayed on half-board basis and ate out several times, but there is nowhere particularly good close to the hotel so we either took a taxi to Alcudia old town or Pollensa. This year as we had combined this hotel with another in Deia and were only staying for five nights we had evening meals at the hotel. Dinner is a buffet with the option of ordering from an a la carte menu. We opted for the buffet which is good, lots of choice on the main and dessert courses but we did think that had our visit been longer we would have wanted a change.

The staff are excellent, the pool bistro lunches are very good and the service is quick and efficient.

Entertainment was variable, but the band performing hits by the Four Tops were excellent.

The pool area and gardens are well maintained and there are plenty of sun loungers.

There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and the buses run regularlly. 1.5euros to Alcudia old town.

BUT the best part of staying here is the beach which is fantastic, lovely sand and very safe bathing.

Would definitely return.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful, would recommend to anyone. All of the staff are very friendly, the food, wine and welcome are amazing. We don't normally stay at hotels for evening entertainment but the standard was so high we didn't feel the need to venture out.
A special thank you to Stephi is who so good at her job and really deserves recognition. We would definitely stay again.

There have been so many excellent reviews about this hotel, there's very little more that I can add - except that it is by far the best hotel that we have ever had the pleasure to stay in. What made it stand out from other 5* hotels we have stayed in was the sincere friendliness of the staff, and the completely easy-going attitude and ethos all round; it really felt like a luxury holiday - with no airs and graces whatsoever.

Yes, the surrounding area (not too close) is typically touristy and rather trashy in terms of shops, but the beach from which the hotel leads onto, makes up for that - beautifully secluded, and well away from the nightmare proportions of Alcudia and Can Picafort. There is a charge for sun beds on the beach, but that is because they are not owned by the hotel. There are ample sun beds in the hotel grounds anyway (within a gardened area and on a sandy patch just before the beach), and very few people did in fact seem to reserve them - probably because breakfast is from 8 - 11 am, and the clientele seem to sleep in! There is no problem in taking hotel towels onto the beach, and all that the hotel asks is that you return them to the pool area when you are finished.

On the subject of towels, my only criticism of The Parc Natural is that for a registered Eco Hotel, the pool towels were totally open to abuse by guests. Several chests of freshly laundered towels were scattered around the pool on a daily basis, thus encouraging guests to change them each day - and use more than one each; we noted some guests using three each! This seemed a little strange, as polite notices in the rooms reminded guests of the need to conserve water by re-using bathroom towels and bedding wherever possible. Just a point. I didn’t think I would ever have to criticise an establishment for being too accommodating, however!

Comments have been made about drinks being pricey, but it seemed that drinks were equally as expensive in the surrounding bars (which were far from exclusive – trust me!). Many people, including ourselves bought daytime drinks for the pool from the neighbouring Spar (the one on the LHS as you leave the hotel - and not the one further down the road on the RHS, which claims to be the cheapest in town - it's not!), and enjoyed them in the hotel grounds - no problem whatsoever. We used the fridge in the room for our own purchases, and despite the minibar being checked daily, no one ever complained. A bottle of wine sitting on the beach and watching the sun go down was another inexpensive and totally pleasurable pastime; the evening entertainment in the hotel was rather varied, in our opinion, but that is a purely subjective experience.

Vacating the room at 12 noon for a night flight caused us no upheaval whatsoever. Our cases were automatically taken from our room at the allocated time, and it was pointed out that the spa area had all the facilities needed to refresh after a day by the pool. In retrospect, I wish I had visited the spa area at the start of the holiday, because it was extensive and beautiful. There were fresh towels available, large lockers (1 Euro deposit) and even free fruit and drinks available for refreshments. Our hand luggage was kept securely at reception, and I had every faith that our belongings would be safe – and they were. So the last day felt very much like a full “normal” day, and with free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, spending the last hour or so in reception waiting for the private taxi transfer to the airport did not seem too much of an ordeal. The porter waited for the taxi at the entrance, and our bags were loaded onto it before we had even time to make it to the door. Nothing was too much trouble.

Previous comments about unruly children could apply to any hotel, and is the fault of the parents rather than the establishment. We found these to be in the minority, and in general the hotel seemed to attract couples of all ages or small families, rather than the extended families that some of the larger hotels seem to be overrun with – irrespective of rating. The somewhat secluded position of The Parc Natural possibly precludes those who seek all-singing all-dancing 24/7 entertainment, but for a wholly relaxing and luxurious way to recharge some much depleted batteries, this hotel and holiday was flawless. We will return!
