My wife and I decided to explore some of Mexico for our honeymoon and this hotel didn't disappoint.
We arrived at night and were taken with how lovely the restaurant looks from the road. There were lights in the trees, a lovely outside dinner area (or inside if you prefer) and then when you park around the side you see the open plan reception area with its chandelier, water feature and more picturesque seating.
Our room was upstairs, overlooking the beautiful swimming pool. The room was lovely, comfortable and with good quality furniture, in a pleasing style.
The bathroom was a good size and the products were decent quality. We weren't keen on the bathtub with shower curtain but that's just our personal preference. It was all perfectly functional.
We had dinner and breakfast the next morning in the restaurant and the food was good quality and the waitstaff were lovely. My wife took to them instantly when she asked how to thank them in Mayan and they seemed to enjoy (attempting) teaching us a few phrases.
Overall a lovely stay here, we would have happily stayed in this hotel longer.More
