We are Marriott Vacation Club members and have used this year's week at the Marriott's Village d'Ile-de-France. With a rental car, we find it very convenient to go to Disneyland Paris (8 min.), the Val d'Europe shopping center (8 min.) and center of Paris (30 min.), in fact.

The facilities were in good condition and had all the facilities most people would need; i.e. a mini mart, gym, swimming pool, business center. The townhouse we stayed in had two storeys with all the amenities we would require, including the wifi. With two bathrooms and one toilet in the unit, the four of us never had to wait for one another. The garden outside was lovely - with ducks, geese & cats walking around.

Just a couple of tips:

- You may want to select the townhouse with parking space right in front, if you don't want to carry your shopping bags too far. Check out the resort map for more details.

- On the contrary, if you don't have a car, it's better to choose the rooms near the Reception building or near the entrance of the property, where there are public bus stops.

- If you plan to cook your meals, you can buy food & ingredients at Carrfour located at the village next to Marriott. (2 min. by car or 15-min. walk). On Sundays, they're only open for 2 hours in the morning though.

- Cleaning service staff usually come around 9-10 a.m. We had to request that they come after 1:00 p.m. as we didn't usually leave our room until the afternoon.

Overall, we were very happy staying there!

Stayed here for 4 nights as its close to disney land Paris and that was the only good thing about it. The town house was ok however as you walk to the front door you could see rat droppings to the side, also the food at the bar was barely edible. They hire bikes out so beware that there will be a chance of an unsupervised child riding in front of your car at least once a day. Also to top it of the pool was dirty and there was feces floating in the pool. All in all I wouldn't stay there again.

We came here for the first time around 10 years ago and have seen it develop over the years. As did our family. From 2 we are now a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). We loved it from the beginning here but have also had some times that we thought they should improve things (especially housekeeping). We still have some wishes for the resort (bring back the clock on the main building, build a toilet near the outside swimming pool and have more variety on the menu for diner or lunch), but the service has improved with our last visit. The lady that did our checkin was the lady I encountered several times during our stay (including check out) and she is a real asset to the resort.

We have used the kids club for the first time and it was a success. The townhouses offer what you need for a holiday home (it is a Marriott Vacationclub, but instead of a villa... here you really have townhouses which feels more upscale... although you might need bigger walk to the lobby, but then again the distances are not that big at the resort).

We Always go with the car and have Always found a sport to park. The resort is well secured: people that have no business there are not welcome. So it is a safe place for families. We usually visit Disneyland Paris while we're there. We find the yearpass a better option (if you go 3 days or more and it includes parking there - check it out at the bureau of the passeport annuel).

The kitchen is used for breakfast and often diner. There are several options for buying groceries: at the marriott itself (for things you forgot and really need now), the supermarket in Bailly Romainvilliers (2 min by car or 10 walking) for basically everything or the Auchan at Val d'Europe (for the experience). There is a good bakery in Bailly Romainvilliers too (birthday cake anyone?... it beats any unfrozen cake from Disney) and if that one is closed... there is another good bakery 30 meters behind it... Options enough.

After this review I will post a short video of the resort I made may 2013. It basically shows a walk around the resort (not the townhouses inside). I'm sure you'll agree the resort looks very nice.

We like it so much... we're going again the last week of september.

P.S. What happened to the steamroom? Hopefully it was closed for maintenance and is now back in busines...

My family and I just loved it, specially the landscape. The only bad thing about it was the expensive shuttle service as we had to peel off around 20 Euros for five persons every given day. Also I remember dragging my luggage to my villa upon arrival as they said it would take long for them to send the same.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a 2 bed town house, but also used the bed-settee in the living area. We were so pleased we stayed here. It was a lovely quiet resort, and simply to hop on the bus to Disneyland (although we were charged different prices - between 1 and 2 Euros) Do not use the taxi as it is far more expensive.

The house was stunning - beautifully decorated, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the pool and sauna too, although the gym was disappointing. For the price, this was exceptional value. An unforgettable experience.
