“nice for a celebration”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

We took visitors from overseas here for dinner, the staff were great and made a lovely fuss of our guests. Lovely views over the lake and you can eat inside or on the large balcony which has clear plastic "walls" in case it is windy or raining
Tables are set nicely with white linens, making it one of the nicer restaurants in the area.
Not much choice for vegetarians so best to check beforehand what is on the menu.
Lots of parking available and easy access to the restaurant
on the downside, its a bit expensive, especially for the Caboolture area and would save it for a special occasion because of that.

“Good food for the area”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

Meals were very generous, staff ensured that the experience was positive. For example, we ordered a bottle of wine but did not finish it and asked if it could be kept until the next evening for us. There was no problem with our request which is unusual in this day and age.
Food tended to be deep fried and for those that are hungry rather than on fine dining, but this is how they advertise so it should not be a surprise.
We ate here twice and enjoyed the experience but understand that you are getting quantity and not quality.
Well done to the staff, good attention to detail and consumer experience.

“Expensive for the region it serves”
Reviewed June 10, 2013

Not a bad place, but quite expensive. OK for those on corporate cards, but for a family, priced way over the top.
That said, the meals and service are very good, but you certainly pay more than necessary.

“What have we here?”
Reviewed April 16, 2013

Peoples, please look past the 80's signage and decor. I have just had one of the best steaks in my life! I had the Earth and Sea dish and got the prawns and Moreton Bay bugs. I looked at the $50 price tag and almost went for a pasta. But I'm glad I didn't! It was absolutely delicious. The steak was tender and the seafood was fresh. The accompanying vegetables were humble but exquisitely cooked (could've done without the mushroom stem though, but I'm nitpicking!). The gravy was full of flavour (although a little salty but that's just personal preference) and the portion was substantial. The staff were friendly and attentive. They have an open kitchen so you can salivate on the smells while you waited for your meal. And wait I did but peoples, bring a book if you're alone or start a game of I Spy if you are with company, it is well worth the wait. I was planning on trying somewhere else tomorrow night but I think I will cut my losses and go back to this restaurant.
