We stayed at this hotel as part of a tour so I cannot evaluate value for money as part of this write-up.
We were a little concerned at first since this place looked dingier than we expected (having paid a premium for a private tour). With that said, our room was basic but cute: two double beds with comfortable mattresses and pillows with fleece sheets and plenty of blankets. We were warm even though the electricity/heat were turned off at 11 pm. We also managed to squeeze in a warm shower when we arrived (heating via solar panel so we were warned the morning water temperature might not be so forgiving).
Dinner was quite good and they even accommodated a vegetarian meal request. Breakfast, however, was below average since the bread was a bit stale. The dining room is very charmingly designed with seats made from salt blocks and quinoa designs on the table.
Considering we were in the middle of the Salar, these were very comfortable accommodations.
