We had an amazing days at Turtle Beach Resort. We loved the rooms, the gardens, the exquisite food and the views. We loved too the kind of the people at the resort. The beach was so beautiful and we can saw the wonderful turtle at the nights.

There were so many wonderful things about this resort and then there were so many concerns. We were there for 8 days with several friends for a wedding. We chose this resort due to the all-inclusive abilities and location. The resort is directly on the ocean, which is wonderful - every room has a view. The grounds overall were nice and crews were definitely there trying to keep it clean. A concern were all the beach/lounge chairs - they were never cleaned - bird poop everywhere. The food was descent - there was limited variation though, especially with breakfast. Plus, specifics regarding appropriate attire varied between meals and which wait staff chose to enforce the rules with which guests. The rooms were older looking with limited remodeling completed, but they were kept clean. However, linens were limited - we only received two large bath towels and had to ask for a hand towel - even at that point, we didn't always get one. As for the staff, some were friendly and helpful and some appeared as if we were burdening them. However, in the evening, we had one wonderful waiter who was energetic, enthusiastic, helpful, and just overall great with the guests - Thanks Dain Henry!
This resort has a ton of potential but overall we had a good experience!

We had a great holiday at Turtle Beach 26/6/14 for two weeks. The hotel is excellent value for money - bedrooms are not luxurious but perfectly fine with good air-conditioning plenty of space and comfortable beds. Kettles and hairdryers are provided and beach towels are plentiful.
All the rooms are on the beach front and ground floor rooms allow you to step out on to the sand and be on your sun bed in less than 10 seconds! The beach is great - wide and sandy and the sea although not azure blue is a calm bay fringed with waves. Turtles seem to come up most nights at the moment and it is great to see these amazing creatures. Don't wait to be called by reception just sit in the bar after dinner and word goes around when there is one there. Food is good and plentiful for the standard of hotel and it is a nice eating occasion usually under a covered beachside restaurant, weather permitting. A few tips:
• Taxis are a good way to get around but they are not frequent so you need to order them before you want to travel
• Tennis courts are not good - the courts need new nets and only one is playable (just)
• It is not a party place - evenings are quiet.
• We did a boat trip with ' Stumpy' -The Tuna Man who you will find on the beach - great way to see the island.
• Scuba was good at the Grafton Hotel through Extra Divers
Definitely a great hotel from which to enjoy this beautiful island. See this video which my son put together which will make you want to go! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDITKhSFyak

Room Tip: All rooms are beach facing and ground floor is better

A beautiful location on the beach where turtles come up to lay their eggs at certain times of the year and we were lucky to witness this...once you slow down to Caribbean time all is hunky dory.

Food is Ok without being fabulous.. suited us fine plenty of fish and vegetables but lots of meat dishes too for the carnivorous, drinks under the all inclusive package are what you would expect ...passable. Rooms are comfortable and reasonably well equipped with hairdryers and t.v (although ours did not work) but we came to relax and read so no big deal. Service was Ok and mostly with a smile...

We hired a car for two days and explored the island and enjoyed our time doing so, in fact we were more than amazed at how much rain forest and wilderness there was. Englishman's bay and Parlatuvier bay were two of our favourites.

Only negative was being hassled to buy trips by so called tour guides from the beach but after a week and they realised you were not new ..that eased off.....my wife was physically hassled by one chap on a walk we had along the beach to Plymouth(which was not worth doing) but I don't think the chap was quite the ticket and was just trying to sell mangoes initially but then crossed a line.....at home we would have made a bigger deal of it...we let him know in no uncertain terms he was out of order and stunned he stood still and left us alone...overall I don't think there is a massive safety issue as long as you are sensible and keep your wits about you...there are security staff around the hotel but I am not sure they influence too much as they are pretty paid back too! Did we have a good time YES! Would we rush back No!

Room Tip: We preferred our room which was quite a way from reception as it was very quiet...but it probably wo...

Had a wonderful experience at Turtle Beach Resort, will surely visit again...The Chef was Top of the Line, its been a while since I have visited a resort where all the meals were excellent, GREAT JOB!!!

All the staff were very accommodating, Front Desk, Nyoka, Esther, Thessa :) Housekeeping Supervisor who went the extra mile to cater to our needs and Restaurant Service Staff....Keep up the Good Work Turtle Beach...

An upgrade to the main lobby for a modern cooler facility would be a plus...but I would visit again and soon :)

Mr. Amadee, Mr. Scotland and the entire team, thanks again :)

Not a bad stay at Turtle Beach, but also nothing special. During our three nights there, only 1 night offered any entertainment at all. This was disappointing to our family. Service from the staff was mediocre at best. While nobody was rude or anything like that, many staff seemed unfriendly, or at least unhappy. There were exceptions such as Dain, who was quite friendly and helpful.
