“Magnificient Setting! Must Visit”
Reviewed May 26, 2014

Went to Finns Beach Club last week (May 2014) and:
Price: you pay 250,000 rupiah per adult of which you get credit of 150,000 rupiah to use for lunch and drinks which we thought was good value for money considering the beautiful location.
It starts off from a lift (Cable Car) takes you down to the property, a beautiful path way...
Upon arrival... you're given a beach towel, if you wish to swim... btw your free to swim in the ocean, with their snorkeling gear available free of charge for its guests to use.. which we thought was incredible.
the restaurant, we had margarita pizza.. which was average... and for Dessert we had the breach pudding... this is the Best bread Pudding ever.... we thoroughly enjoyed it!
There are sun beds, bean bags for people to chill with their drinks on sand... after a couple of hours we headed back to the top, where we used the Hotel pool free of charge... the pool offers a beautiful view of the lush greens and beach.... we ordered banana milk shake which was good... along with Spring rolls.... these were to die for... So far these were the BEST SPRING ROLLS we've ever had.... the rolls had no oil or even traces of it (normally spring rolls have excess oil) and the filling inside was nice and juicy... oh we want to go back there for these!
nothing beats the location... with picturesque views...
The draw back:
There were no shower facilities available down, which we thought was silly considering everyone's dirty with sand... there are only two washrooms available for women, so there's always a long queue I dint bother to use the loo there and went straight up to the property for that. there's a shower room next to the pool at the hotel which is nice and clean.
Cable Car: though i loved the whole experience .... the only thing is there's always a queue to go up as the cable car can accommodate only about 6 people at a time... which to say ... wasn't a big deal considering all the other positives...
over all Verdict: Over all our trip to bali wouldn't be complete without going to Finns beach club... and we would recommend this place to everyone.... way to go! HIDDEN GEM... MUST VISIT!

“A little pricey but well worth it. Scenery amazing!”
Reviewed May 25, 2014 via mobile

I went to Finns with my family last week. You pay 250,000 rupiah per adult to get down there by cable car but $150,000 of that is added to credit on your food & beverage bill. We had lunch & some drinks which were ok. We just had the beef curry, nasi goreng & a pizza to share. The curry wasn't great. Not a lot of flavour & quite watery. Was the worst yet most expensive curry we ate while in Bali. The other things were quite nice. But we didn't really go there for the food. The atmosphere was lovely & the scenery amazing. It's a beautiful white sandy beach with crystal blue water. There are plenty of banana lounges & bean bags to chill out on. The day we went the tide was quite high & the sea was pretty rough. I have 3 children under 5 so it was impossible for them to have a swim by themselves. I had heard it is great for swimming but the day we went it was actually quite dangerous. My youngest boys were happy just playing in the sand while my husband took my daughter into the water. I did really love it here. It really is just beautiful.
You can also have a swim I. The infinity pool at the resort on your way out with is special in itself. We spent about 1 million rupiah which is quite expensive by Bali standards but was definitely well worth it.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your recent visit to Finn’s and constructive comments surrounding our food which will be addressed with the chef.

Unfortunately tide and weather conditions are beyond our control which is why we do allow guests to use the cliff top swimming pool and restaurant complimentary. As you mentioned many guests do enjoy this prior to or after a visit to Finns. The view from the cliff top looking down toward Finns is amazing and makes for plenty of great photo opportunities. Wifi is free too so you can post to Instagram or Facebook immediately.

Feel free to contact us at anytime via finns@semararesorts.com or Facebook to check tide or weather conditions.

We hope to see you and your family back soon.

Best Regards,
Finn’s Team

“Beautiful setting and great food”
Reviewed May 22, 2014

We had dinner at Finn's on our last stay at Semara and it was beautiful. The food was great and the drinks were lovely. We had booked a table for 20 but the space there doesn't really accommodate large groups very well. If you were after a table for up to 6 or 8 it is more than comfortable.
The setting is beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful. I had the jumbo prawns and they were delicious. The gneral consensus of our group was that the food was great.
Definitely worth a visit

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your recent visit. Finn’s can cater for 10 persons in the restaurant area but due to the design a table for 20 persons is not possible. For groups of 10 or more persons were commend a reservation is made in advance.

We hope that you were able to take advantage of our evening Bonfires and our complimentary shuttle service at night time.

Until your next visit,

Best regards from Finn’s team
