This is the second time we have visited the White Lion for lunch after having visited Stourhead on a Sunday morning. It is a rambling pub in which several of the ground floor areas are now a restaurant, although the bar area is still a local pub. It obviously does a good trade on Sundays. The food was good, although perhaps a bit below the standard of our first visit, and well served. There was a good selection of vegetables with my roast beef. There is an interesting range of draft beers and ciders.
