I was very worried about our boat trip when our travel rep suggested this company and I could not find many good reviews about it. However, we ended up having a really great day out on the water as a family. We were picked up at our hotel at 730am, the only ones from our hotel, and our driver drove us over to the boat lagoon. We were the first ones to arrives, signed some paperwork and waited outside. Within the next half hour the area was full of people waiting and we realized there were a few boats heading out that day. We were given different colored stickers on arrival and then called forward by color to board our boat. Our tour guide, Pong, was very friendly and explained the plan for the day. A photo was taken of each group before boarding, the standard souvenir photo sold at the end, and then our boat was off by around 9am. There was about 30 people on our boat plus the 7 boat crew, everyone had a seat and it was comfortable but anymore and it would have been tight. Pong asked each group to write down our names and he made a point to remember our names throughout the day, it was a really nice touch. There was snorkeling gear for everyone and they had small sizes for the kids as well as life jackets. Throughout the day we made a few stops for swimming and snorkeling at different spots around Bamboo Island and Phi Phi Islands. Our two young kids, ages 5 and 3, did so well snorkeling and we were so happy they picked it up so quickly. We enjoyed a buffet lunch at the restaurant on Phi Phi Island sitting outside on the deck looking out over the water. The food was good but typical for a large buffet spread. There was plenty of bottles water and soft drinks on the boat at no additional charge, and fruit to snack on as well. All of the areas where we stopped throughout the day were very busy with boats and tourists. Especially our last stop at Maya Bay (the movie "The Beach" was filmed here). They were all very nice but it would have been even better to stop at some more secluded swimming areas. We arrived back at the boat dock around 4:30pm and Pong made a point to pass around a hat for tips for the boat crew. We were happy to give a tip for their great service since they were so helpful with the kids throughout the day but it was a little forced. After getting off the boat, we were each given a cold towel and glass of orange juice to cool off. We were also asked to fill out a review form before leaving which ensured we could give our feedback while it was fresh on our minds. Our driver was waiting for us and drove us back tour hotel. Overall it was a fun day and I would recommend this boat trip!
