We arrived at 7pm we stayed until 9pm - we fast tracked thru the museum with the help of a lovely staff member who offered to take our photos. I would double check that photos are in focus before moving on to the next painting. There are photos of examples of poses others have tried to give you ideas. there are no rules you just need to bring your camera, fun posing face and a good sense of humour. There is a fee for entry
The paintings are amazing and the photos are fabulous, a great chance to be silly and just relax. There are over 100 paintings and optical illusions you can pose with.
We incorporated our visit with a late dinner at the Natural Restaurant also in Phuket town as transportation from Patong was between 400-500 baht by Tuk Tuk one way. Other people we spoke to visited the museum before attending the weekend market.
