We arrived at 7pm we stayed until 9pm - we fast tracked thru the museum with the help of a lovely staff member who offered to take our photos. I would double check that photos are in focus before moving on to the next painting. There are photos of examples of poses others have tried to give you ideas. there are no rules you just need to bring your camera, fun posing face and a good sense of humour. There is a fee for entry

The paintings are amazing and the photos are fabulous, a great chance to be silly and just relax. There are over 100 paintings and optical illusions you can pose with.

We incorporated our visit with a late dinner at the Natural Restaurant also in Phuket town as transportation from Patong was between 400-500 baht by Tuk Tuk one way. Other people we spoke to visited the museum before attending the weekend market.

When you get inside the 500 Baht entrance is understandable. Must be over a hundred, brilliantly hand painted optical illusion paintings. The paintings allow you to "get inside" the painting and take photo's. Not advisable to go on your own without a tripod. Even as a couple it's tricky to get a good photo!

As a family, we really enjoyed the Trickeye museum. We spent about an hour there and took so many photos. we got more creative as time went on. It was a nice air conditioned break from the heat. My only complaint stopping it from being 5 stars was the price. It was equivalent to $58NZ for family of 4 so steep for one hour and being in Thailand.

Dear aceklv

Thank you for your feedback and for your visiting our Trickeye Museum,

May I explain about entrance fee as you mention , It's because the Thai baht very low and Thai people earning very low amount of salary and we also would like them to come and learn the history in the museum they is the reason why we have to keep the price down for Thai as discount 50% benefit. And we offered this benefit for Thai resident or expat as well.

However, if you come back on your next visit or maybe you still here, and will be happy to refund 500 baht to you as we would like to take response and hopefully you will understand for this situation.

Sincerely yours,

Ms. Uraiwan Chonlakhet
