You will drive through a few villages - don't be alarmed.
You will arrive at a pier and board a longboat. If the tide is out, you will be walking above mudflats, and probably crawling from boat to boat to get to the outside boat which can get away from the pier.
The longboat trip is a 5 minute trip - you can see The Black Crab from the pier.
When you arrive, you may be concerned when you see the rickety "restaurant', but don't despair.
You will be seated and drinks taken.
You will be introduced to the resident puff fish, shark - alll pets.
Then you will be asked what you would like to eat, then choose the victims from the nets you have already walked past.
Steamed, bbq'd, deep fried - all on offer.
The fresh vegies and salad were fantastic.
Loved, loved, loved the experience. Food was wonderful, the breeze kicking off the water was welcoming, the beer/drinks were cold.
Full flavour; great food.
Cost us approx AUS$30 per head - all food, all drinks.
We ate two whole fish, two whole lobsters, 16 king prawns, steamed rice, fried rice, vegetables, salads, sauces, drinks.
Go'on ... give it a go!!
