The show was informative and entertaining - very well put together.
Loved the elephants, and the meal was not too bad.

We did not know what to expect but had an enjoyable evening. The minibus picked us up from our hotel, times vary according to whether you opt for the meal or not. We did.
Upon arrival, you are welcomed and given your numbered seat tickets for the show. The welcome was excellent.
You walk through a small row of gift shops, very well presented and with some good items for sale. This opens into a courtyard where elephants give rides for an extra charge or you can just watch and photograph them.
To the left is a mockup of a Thai village or rather, buildings from different areas of the country. For those who are interested, this is well worth a visit but if you are not really interested in their lifestyle, then it has little relevance. They have put a lot of effort into this attraction and the individuals at each exhibit give 100%.
The meal is in a very large room/hall but well laid out and organised. We were welcomed and looked after very efficiently. It is a buffet style meal and very enjoyable. You can buy drinks as an extra.
When the time arrives, the doors to the theatre are opened for the show. It is very large, comfortable and modern. At the entrance, you are asked to hand in your camera which was a surprise but handled very efficiently and securely. This should not be viewed as a problem.
The actual show was about Thai culture. Being visitors here from England, we knew little of the culture and to be fair, we did not understand a lot of the presentation. But this was compensated by the quality of the production which was well put together. Setting and scenery changes were slick and the costumes were amazing. We even had elephants walking through the middle of the auditorium right in front of us.
With out giving the game away, it was worth going just for the river scenes.
The site is still being developed and will no doubt change over time. They have invested a lot of money in this project and it is well managed. Well worth a visit, we are glad we went.

We were transported from our villa to the venue. There was a fantastic buffet. Then we spent the next hour or so walking from one "sidewalk show" to the next. We were disappointed with the wresting, it was so obviously staged. We paid for and took a ten minute elephant ride, but it lasted less than five minutes. It was still fun to be on an elephant, so we weren't disappointed there. The show made excessive use of technology to make the show lively, but the acting and plot were weak.

Its the big competitor to Fantasea, but Siam Niramit also exists in BKK and I must say the show is very good
