This is a totally Thai experience and would not be appreciated by most Europeans as most of the background history is not explained.
Not expensive for the buffet dinner, and show. The show has spectacular staging and lighting which is not matched by the performers who are quite amateurish. The pre show activities are entertaining so if you decide to go take the whole evening option.
The night we went the only two languages were English and Thai, the Russians next to me did not understand anything. So may be you should check which other language is going to be used the night you book for.
It is a Thai experience, weren't that disappointed that we went.
Be prepared to be frisk searched for cameras and food before entry, thought this was strange as all phones have a camera option. All cameras had to be checked in at a central depository. This seemed well organised but all seemed totally unnecessary.
