I arrived at Casa Blanca in Phuket Town after spending 2 days and nights in one of the many resorts on the East coast... From the very second I stepped into this place I felt at home. The most welcoming smile from Giorgi (the owner) upgraded my "home" to a top guest house where I only received top quality guest service. If you love boutique hotel experience in Europe this place is for you. Among the guests we had French, Italian, Japanese and Spanish, and that's it! Great location as well in Old Phuket! There is much more to see in Phuket town than what you can see advertised on Internet, or actually wha you cannot see!:-) I was there earlier this week and met with a French gentleman from the French Rivieira who has been staying at Casa Blanca for 2 months per year over the last 3 years. It speaks by itself! Bravo Giorgi!

We stayed here for 2 nights in late December and really loved the hotel. It was an oasis of calm in the craziness of Phuket and we really appreciated. The staff were very friendly and helpful and brought cake to our room which always goes down well! The rooms were clean and he bed was so comfortable! My only complaint would be that there was no ventilation from the bathroom which isn't great if the aircon is on in the bedroom. Otherwise wonderful.

Well renovated and decorated Portugese/sino heritage building of triple front heritage shop- house style in best area of old Phuket town on the main street right around the corner from Thalang rd.
Thalang Rd is lined by wonderful old chinese shop houses (as is much of Old Town.
Thalang rd is lit at night with lights changing colours right down the street which creates an amazing effect on the facades of these very old heritage buildings.
It has many interesting arty cafes and brick a brac shops in between the operating Chinese businesses and is fast becoming a must see tourist attraction whilst in Phuket but is yet to be over run by Phuket's tourists (and tour buses). So go and soak up the ambiance whilst you can still be one of the few travelers frequenting the area.
This fab boutique hotel retains many original features including inner courtyard with old tile sections on the floors.
Wonderful white interiors, beautiful comfortable & clean bedding and modern artworks compliment the rooms.
Th public areas are well decorated with sino art deco chairs and artifacts.
The quirky small pool is a god send after a hot day out scouring the shops and streets.
We had no trouble spending 2 days in and around 'old town'.
The owner and staff are very accommodating and go out of their way to help in every way.
There is some maintenance needed to paintwork on doors but the hotel is generally in very good condition and is often heavily booked in high seasons. (perhaps the reason maintenance is lacking a little).
The rooms are not huge by any measure but quite adequate for a couple and the deluxe and superior appear about the same size.
The lift appears only to be operating for luggage so check if you can not climb stairs unaided as this is a 3 level walk up.

Room Tip: There are 3 location & types of rooms. B5 and B6 are our pick over looking the pool and have ope...

My boyfriend and I stayed here twice- on separate occasions- during our trip to Thailand

Both times were great-the hotel itself is lovely- beautifully decorated, quiet and clean.

The staff are very helpful and sweet

The location is not the best (but we knew this when we booked) and if you want to go into Patong, you can get a cab or tuk tuk for approx 600baht each way. Nice quiet part of town and very close to the old town if that's more your thing

Highly recommended :)

Stayed here one night, before heading to Koh Lanta. An excellent place; they even let us stretch out on the sofa in the lobby for a couple of hours, seeing as we arrived at 6am and they were fully booked. We were able to check in at 10am and the room was lovely, very large with extremely comfy beds and tastefully decorated, with a good size balcony. The only down side was the road noise - something the hotel has already tried to minimise by installing double glazing. Some of the cars driving past must have been little more than loud speakers on wheels, as we still heard them clearly booming away. Get a room away from the front and you will be in for a wonderful stay. Phuket town itself is a pleasant enough place, well kept and with a few streets reminiscent of the picturesque Chinatown of Singapore. However, the only real reason to stay here is to get an early morning ferry (as was our case). Otherwise, get yourself off to a beach. one point we noticed is that, as opposed to most of Thailand, hailing a taxi (or tuk tuk) from the street outside the hotel was not easy, so better to book one

After we couldn't find a hotel in koh phi phi for the first of our 3 nights there, we desided to stay a night in phuket town close to the ferry. It was last minute and we happen to find this hotel.
The hotel may not be close to the beach or the main attraction but It is a beautiful place to stay if you have a night here. especially if its Sunday because this hotel is extremely close to the Sunday evening market which has a lot of food, art and shows. But don't worrie the market finishes at 22:00 and the balcony has a double glass doors.
The staff is very nice a efficient. They helped us a lot when our booking for koh phi phi got lost, they called the hotel and tried to help. They also speak nice English which is rare in thailand.
Overall a beautiful place.

We expected a modest hotel and my word were we surprised. Having come from 5 star luxury in Bangkok our expectations were of something of a come down. This couldn't be further from the truth. The hotel is lovely, utterly charming with helpful smiling staff. Airport and trip transfers organised in high quality cars with accommodating drivers - "let me know when you are ready to go somewhere else". Possibly the trips could be found cheaper elsewhere but for us the convenience and, yes, luxury of door to door transfers to ourselves more than compensated. We would recommend again and again. Thank you Casa Blanca - our anniversary was made more special with our stay with you.

Room Tip: We loved being at the front with a balcony overlooking the bustling street but some may prefer a qui...
