“Bags of character, great place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 8, 2014

Stayed here one night, before heading to Koh Lanta. An excellent place; they even let us stretch out on the sofa in the lobby for a couple of hours, seeing as we arrived at 6am and they were fully booked. We were able to check in at 10am and the room was lovely, very large with extremely comfy beds and tastefully decorated, with a good size balcony. The only down side was the road noise - something the hotel has already tried to minimise by installing double glazing. Some of the cars driving past must have been little more than loud speakers on wheels, as we still heard them clearly booming away. Get a room away from the front and you will be in for a wonderful stay. Phuket town itself is a pleasant enough place, well kept and with a few streets reminiscent of the picturesque Chinatown of Singapore. However, the only real reason to stay here is to get an early morning ferry (as was our case). Otherwise, get yourself off to a beach. one point we noticed is that, as opposed to most of Thailand, hailing a taxi (or tuk tuk) from the street outside the hotel was not easy, so better to book one

After we couldn't find a hotel in koh phi phi for the first of our 3 nights there, we desided to stay a night in phuket town close to the ferry. It was last minute and we happen to find this hotel.
The hotel may not be close to the beach or the main attraction but It is a beautiful place to stay if you have a night here. especially if its Sunday because this hotel is extremely close to the Sunday evening market which has a lot of food, art and shows. But don't worrie the market finishes at 22:00 and the balcony has a double glass doors.
The staff is very nice a efficient. They helped us a lot when our booking for koh phi phi got lost, they called the hotel and tried to help. They also speak nice English which is rare in thailand.
Overall a beautiful place.

We expected a modest hotel and my word were we surprised. Having come from 5 star luxury in Bangkok our expectations were of something of a come down. This couldn't be further from the truth. The hotel is lovely, utterly charming with helpful smiling staff. Airport and trip transfers organised in high quality cars with accommodating drivers - "let me know when you are ready to go somewhere else". Possibly the trips could be found cheaper elsewhere but for us the convenience and, yes, luxury of door to door transfers to ourselves more than compensated. We would recommend again and again. Thank you Casa Blanca - our anniversary was made more special with our stay with you.

Room Tip: We loved being at the front with a balcony overlooking the bustling street but some may prefer a qui...

For my husband and I, this was truely a wonderful hotel. Why because the people are great. Madam Girogi(Owner) is an amazing lady. She has created a wonderful environment to be in. The staff are so amazing. We stayed 3 weeks and became part of this unique family circle.

What we learn't during our time was, that these people are trying their best to learn the processes of providing excellent service to each and every person who stays at the hotel. It is a good thing to remember this when we are travellers from outside," that if we want to be treated with respect, then we must show respect".

Our room was big, clean and tidy. It was serviced daily and they provided lovely treats to eat as a snack when we arrived back to our room. the bed was huge and comfortable.

We enjoyed a swim in the pool every day. And you must try the baked goods in the fabulous little cafe in the foyer area. Great cakes "Yummy". Giorgi and her staff make amazing cakes that everyone has to try! They are all good!!

Very quiet in a busy area of phuket town. The increase of noise was usually caused by other clients in the hotel.

Others may think the costs were high for casa blanca, but please remember that this is high season and this is a great boutique hotel. With the exchange rates "no one should be complaining "really" We loved our stay and got to know some fabulous people. Thank you for having us and we will be back. "Merry Christmas Casa Blanca"

Room Tip: To reduce the noise from the AC unit you have to select a low fan speed.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The staff were fabulous & the hotel was gorgeous - I loved everything about it. I booked it just needing one night in phuket before we were off on the next adventure. I had no idea how great the hotel was when I booked it! Great service, and great location. We stayed on a Sunday night & there was an amazing little market down the road! Would stay again!!!!

I was more than surprised with this little jewel in the heart of Phuket Town. This small 17 room hotel is clean, neat, cheap and the service is excellent. Close enough to everything you need.
The hotel is equipped with a nice swimming pool, internet, and a nice little cafe where you can eat homemade cake.

A must stay if you are in Phuket Old City and try to avoid the beaches. Beautiful building in sino-portugese style. We had a room overlooking the pool which was very quiet, no road noise at all. There is good internet. At this time of the year the pool was a little bit too cold for us. The owner and her staff are very friendly. The owner speaks very well English and she is also fluent in Spanish. She loves to entertain her guests. In the little café you can get a small breakfast, croissants, fruit salads, bagels etc. Pity that it was closed in the evening. For restaurants there are a lot of choice in the area, and the staff can advise you in finding a nice one.
And if you still want to go to one of the beaches, the songthaews (thai local transport) are around the corner.
