Ate our lunch around 2p.m on arrival day. We were the only customers in the restaurant then. The Tom Yam Goong soup and pineapple fried rice were quite good. The Manathai Signature Coffee with alcohol was a real kick! Try it.

We stumbled across this restaurant one evening when going for a walk & it looked very modern, clean & inviting. We tried to get a table. They were very busy, but they did have a few empty tables with two settings. When we asked for a table for three (2 adults & 1 child) they said "sorry, we are full"!!! In other words too lazy to set another place. This should have put us off returning, but it looked so nice that we decided to book for another night.

We returned two nights later on a very rainy quiet evening. The waiter seemed to be the only person there & we stood at the doorway for nearly 5 mins until he appeared. There were not many people in the restaurant, but he seemed unable to cope, therefore service was very slow all night. At some point during the night, a waitress appeared to help the lone waiter, however in our 8 nights in Phuket we have never encountered such a rude woman. Not only were our drinks dumped on our table unpoured, when our food arrived it was almost thrown at us. I felt like walking out at that point. However, surprisingly, the food we ate was extremely good. Two of the dishes were in the top ranking of our holiday.

In summary, it's a real shame that the talents of the chef are not complimented by the wait staff. If they sorted their customer service and efficiency out, the restaurant would be very good. The price was also reasonable for a very modern, clean & inviting setting.

We ate at this restaurant twice in a week as we found that we could actually experience Thai food in Thailand. Comparable to what we usually eat back home in Melbourne.

The service was great and staff made sure we were comfortable from the rain that had begun the minute we sat down.

We had the shrimp cakes and the Moussaman (not spelt that way) curry which my partner enjoyed.

Recommend for casual dining.

We ate there for lunch and we were the only ones there. The food was excellent, but we could have had better service. We loved the food , the decor is really well taste and the location couldn't be near our hotel.

We stayed at Twin Palms, and Weaves is located next door. Nice ambience, great food. Great value for money.
