Great friendly resort, good food and service! Plenty of photo opportunities.
Only downside was that we were unlucky with the weather but being the rainy season it is a chance that you take! There could be more sunbeds although we always seemed to find some.

our stay here was in the pool villa, which we loved, it looked perfect, the pool was clean and inviting. Over the first few days we had a succession of things go wrong, nothing big, but it all added up. When finally on the 3rd day the huge shower rose fell off almost braining my husband, he had enough. Again, not being emotional sorts, he explained the problems and just explained that it was taking the age off of what was a birthday/anniversary holiday.
The manager, couldn't apologies more, then the service really kicked in, culminating in him moving us for the last 4 days to one of the beach front houses. These are nothing short of spectacular. we thought our villa was nice, but nothing compared to this. We joked it ruined our vacation, because we never wanted to leave the house !
The resort is nice, relaxed etc. The beach at the resort is , well nothing to right home about. down the coast a bit is the village/houses, which is a mess and a real shame.
only too late, we discovered the free ferry to a neighbouring island, its beach is what you think of when you think tropical beach. Its our fault we didn't go sooner, because it was beautiful.
over all we loved the experience, it was a great holiday - we used the spa for massages etc ( hellishly expensive - especially when you know how much the same would be in the town).
otherwise a lovely please, relaxed is the key word...

We stayed here for a week via an all inclusive offer through Luxury escapes.
I was a little worried about the variety and quality of food and beverage with the all inclusive deal. I was pleasantly surprised and the staff could not do enough to please us. The upgrade to a one bedroom pool villa was well worth it. The rooms, grounds, restaurants and all the facilities were spotless and well maintained. This is a really well run resort which caters well for couples and families. Highly recommended. We were made to feel like part of a big happy family.

I write this on my final half an hour on the island waiting for my delicious pizza to arrive (getting ready for home) and reflect on how amazing the last 8 days have been.
Visiting with a Luxury Escapes all inclusive deal this holiday has been one of the best. The quality of the food outstanding, variety good, themed buffet nights great, cocktails wonderful and not having to think about a bill at the end- priceless.
The actual resort is just beautiful- such pride taken with the landscaping, cleanliness at a high, constant replenishments in the villa, pool areas pristine, availability of lounges on the beach and surrounds great, restaurant setting beautiful and within the villa the beds are very comfy.
Activities offered are great, the added bonus of an aqua aerobics session was brilliant! Free hire of kayak and bikes brilliant. One suggestion would be to put together a weekly calendar of activities so guests can plan their days in advance- also, the sports bar was not often utilised, perhaps have a movie night one or twice a week, make the most of it.
The biggest, most lasting impression and memory of the resort would be the staff - the service is immaculate, speedy, friendly, caring and spectacular. Special mention to: Mook, Lan, Zam, Honey, Da, Lester, Bike, Jigz and Richelle.
Cannot recommend Coconut Island highly enough, thank you for such a brilliant holiday.

We travelled with our two teenage daughters and found the resort to be absolutely amazing. From the wonderfully presented and tasty food, the cleanliness of the entire resort and accommodation to the quality service of the staff and in particular Zam (the man!), Lan and Jingz/Jake. Thank you for making our getaway a blissful and relaxing one especially with the village cocktails. Last but not least we got to watch our All Blacks win on the big screen. We will be back again!
