This market has a lot of local food being prepared on the spot; as well as a good selection of souvenirs to choose from. Research what night's it is on for your visit, as it is only on a couple of nights a week.

Passed by here earlier in week and was told about market on Tuesday paid a visit and was pleasantly surprised by the size of it and how peaceful it was compared to Bangla road which we had visited earlier you can browse without being bothered by the stall holders to buy. When we decided to buy we managed every time to get the price reduced by haggling good variety of stalls and plenty food stalls if you are hungry
Nice market in a lovely setting
It was nice and easy to find as it’s on the main road.
It got quite busy and humid inside, but the was a good selection of food and stalls

I used to love coming to this great market - great food and bargains within the tranquility of a beautiful Buddhist temple, yet this year it has become crazy and overly-commercialized! Every aisle had someone with a megaphone spruiking something. Couldn't get out of there quick enough. Sad.
Not a fan was too crowded with everybody selling the same thing no one prepared to barter like other markets much prefer the Karon plaza market
