i like the pool and the restorant. for me the location is good to have my silens when i am back in the hotel. the rooms are very clean and smell good.the front looby is abit fare and it was good if privet cars coold come to pick up the staf from the back looby

This was the absolute worst hotel stay of my life. I had problems with every department I interacted with, from front desk to housekeeping to restaurant staff. It was truly dire. I gave the hotel numerous opportunities to fix things. Instead, things continued to get worse despite my belief that things couldn't get any worse. The same mistakes were made again and again despite my complaints and new mistakes continued to surprise at every turn. The hardware is great, but the software needs some serious upgrades.

Unrelated to the staff and hotel, the hotel is extremely far from the airport. And the beach, while beautiful, has a severe undertow that makes it unfit for swimming. We saw someone pulled from the water dangerously close to drowning.

We were very disappointed to know your huge disappointments on your stay with us. Furthermore, we have seriously taken your comments on repeated issues. Even you have already provided our management team issues though, we appreciate if you forward us issues in detail to Phuket.Reservations@hilton.com for our close review on matters in order to improve our services.

Speaking of the Karon beach in front of the resort, please be advised that from May to October, it is monsoon season which is not recommended time for swim in the ocean and we put many signs to inform the meaning of flags at the beach for guest safety. Additionally, public life savers are assigned to assist safety for swimmers. From November to April, the beach will turn to be calm and beautiful to enjoy swimming.

Once again, we thank you for your feedback and look forward to your further comments.

We organised a trip to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary with our kids. Was very worried on reading many review and send our requests to manager. On arrival they showed us room in C which were extremely small and smelt damp and musty. We complained and the duty manager said there were not room available but showed us the original in G block which were worst and a long walk away from the main hub of the hotel. After 3 trying to check-in, we said we will pay for upgrade as we were exhausted and fed -up. We upgraded to room in the A block which were really nice but we had to pay 60000 bahts for the 2 rooms. We were very disappointed with the check in manager, who seem not to care at all. When we checked out e-mails a day later we found that they had offered us an upgraded us for a fraction of the price yet the check-in manager failed to check our communication. So Hilton made an offer which they did not honor. I said to her that we write to manager but she just didn't appear to care, we are HHonors member and it made not difference at this hotel. Reception staff are rude except for Tania, who was lovely and spent 3hours with us trying to sort our room out. We had to pay for WiFi in the room which is not like other Hiltons
The hotel itself is very big and it feels like a massive conference centre and does not have a nice hotel feel like other Hiltons. Nice ground and pools. We upgraded and paid to use the Panoma Lounge will is OK, very average but the staff were extremely welcoming.
Generally, very disappointed with hotel as the rooms very tired and old unless you pay for upgrade. The beach is across the road. The food is very average and extremely expensive. I would agree with many reviewer that it is certainly not 5* but charge 5 * prices!!You can walk to the local markets where food is so cheap.
There are many other better hotels, we went to the Katatana for a meal which was lovely, gorgeous hotel and on the beach, with nice friendly staff. We would definitely choose another hotel although we wrote to the General Manager on our return home and was very helpful and honored the original upgrade Hitlon had offered us. Thank you Mr Gomez

Room Tip: If you can afford an upgrade, it is worth it as deluxe rooms are on the small side.

The hotel is massive in terms of size and although quite near to the beach is. also quite a way out. However, if your intention is to come here and relax than this is the place. You don't ever need to walk in spite of the massive space nd size as the hotel itself provides shuttle buggies to all corners of the hotel. However, a walk is a really pleasant experience as it is well shaded by trees lined all over the hotels with plenty of lakes dotted all over the hotels.

It is perfect for conferences and the hotel staff are really attentive without being intrusive. The organisation and arrangement is efficient, We were never short of anything be it stationary such as pencils, writing pads,projectors, microphones, etc. the meals are also good including the tea breaks. There is a wide range of finger foods and beverages.

The rooms are also very spacious and very comfortable. The resort gives an overall feeling of calm and relaxation. Excellent even if it is just coming here for a holiday, to relax, unwind and get away from the madding crowd!

Stayed here on business and had a day of leisure, all in all 2 nights. Enjoyed the secluded grounds and the short walk to the beach, which is not crowded unlike Patong.

The rooms were comfortable, but we had problems - leaking aircon, stuck toilet, jammed sink... fixed quickly by responsive staff, but it was unsettling for a supposed 5* hotel. Also, we had to request for certain bathroom supplies from reception - they had bath salts, toothbrushes etc but it was not provided, and the quantity of the toiletries was very limited as well.

Unlike what other reviewers have reflected, it is not close to shops - I walked 10 minutes and turned back and ended up ordering room service. The pizza I had was ok, but cost as much as a pizza back home. It's also far from the rest of the island. But as the food options were quite limited within the grounds, I ended up heading out to Phuket Town and Patong beach for a few meals.

Breakfast, included with the room, was the typical Continental spread. Quality of the food was variable, but generally ok to good.

No wifi except for in the lobby as well. That was very disappointing.

If I had to pay for my stay, I would choose another hotel as I consider this one to be pricey for what it offers.

We stayed here in August and were really disappointed. We paid for a five star experience but received 3 star standards. Check in was 2pm we couldn't check in until 4. They then tried to charge us an upgrade fee for a room we already had booked but they didn't have that in their system. We were out as far away from reception as possible, were not told that the bars/restaurants down that end had all closed down. Cracks in walls, old broken tv cabinet. Power points not working. Expensive wi-fi. Rude staff (except Olga on reception) all on day 1. After $200 worth if phone calls to our agent to complain we got moved to a nicer room nearer all amenities. Still had to pay for phone calls so not really an upgrade! We received a comp bottle of wine on our first night as we had just gotten engaged and management tried to say that was to say sorry for our stay (we got this BEFORE we complained so unsure how that works!) we were told we would receive a food and bev voucher, we didn't. On checkout we were shocked to see we had to pay the phone alla to our agent when it was to complain about not getting what we paid for. All in all a pretty dismal stay and would not recommend at all.

I was looking forward to my stay at the Hilton Phuket, after such a wonderful experience previously. Upon arrival we were greeted by lovely check in staff and given refreshing towels and a cold tea. I had requested an extra bed for my daughter, but was told that this hadn't been organised yet and we would have to wait, this was okay as we were eager to go and get something to eat, so we headed down to Sails for an early dinner, only to find that the restaurant was untouched from our previous visit 4 years ago, even the menu was exactly the same. Our room (even though the check in staff said that we had been upgraded) was the room that I had booked, beside the renovated bathroom everything else was old and tired. Our room was located above the bar, where live music played each night, not such a great spot when you have kids who want to sleep. Breakfast at Sails was extremely disappointing, more like a 2 star hotel. Sat and waited 20 minutes for coffee, food looked stale, 2 options of fruit, pastries were stale, waffles and pancakes were pre made, plates not cleared from tables. Definitely different to last time when they took you to your table and remembered your coffee type from previous day, had an array of fresh and appealing food and staff ready to bow to your every need. Front desk staff sent us to another breakfast location on day 2 only to walk there to find out that the restaurant was closed for renovations, surely they knew this prior to sending us! On the up side service staff ( house keeping, pool staff) are excellent. House keeping staff always going above and beyond, much like pool staff, who help with towels, umbrellas and poolside dining. After approaching the management team with my concerns I would thank the following; Nupaporn (Duty Manager), the Food & Beverage Manager (Sunday 15/9) I apologise for forgetting his name and Rodney (Director of Food & Beverage) for meeting with us to discuss our concerns about the food within the resort, in particular breakfast. I was very impressed that all these people took the time to listen to our concerns and to make our remaining time at the Hilton a more positive experience. The above mentioned staff were able to show a high level of professionalism in trying to resolve the issues and concerns that we expressed to them. When my family and I went down to thank Rodney, he took the time to sit down with us and talk through the concerns that we had expressed and was able to explain the changes that they were looking forward in making. We really appreciated how all of the above team acted promptly and efficiently and how this helped us change our perception of our stay at the Hilton.
