We found the staff to be both friendly and very helpful. They assisted greatly in helping us deal with as many as 3(!) separate issues that we encountered during our stay, though these were in no way related to the hotel itself.
The room itself was comfortable and had a nice feel to it. We had direct access, via our small terrace, to the curious swimming pool that runs like a narrow moat along front of the accommodation block.
Buffet style breakfast was included in the price but was basic. Internet access is available but we had to pay for it (around $10AU/week). There were 70 plus channels accessible on the TV in the room.
As we were there in an off-peak time, (August), we asked for and got a discount on the room rate.
