“Lovly Hotel”
Reviewed April 6, 2013

We had originally ordered a room on Peach Hill which is just beside this hotel on the same property, and also in the same chain of hotels Peach Group.
The room we received on Peach Hill was not very nice. The bath room wasn’t clean, and the bathtub was constructed in a way so that every time you took a bath there where Water all over the floor. This had resulted in mold many Places in the bathroom. The toilet was also leaking Water. The rest of the room was very nice and the balcony was great. But in the night we were woken up by a lot of noise from the air-conditioning, and we didn’t sleep at all.

The Next day we asked for a new room and the very nice staff found a room for us at the Peach Blossom instead.
We were given room a room facing the pool with a wonderful huge bathroom and a nice big room and balcony, everything looked newly renovated and where in much better condition than the room in Peach Hill (I think the room number was B 422)
The Staff at the hotel was great and very nice. we had lunch at the hotel a couple of times and the Thai food was nice, I had a lot of green curry, that was tasty.
The breakfast was nothing fancy I have to say. The bread was dry, the pastries was terrible, and the juice available was very sweet and synthetic. I just had cornflakes. But there was also eggs and different Thai food that I didn’t taste.

The room was much more quiet then the one at Peach Hill and we couldn’t hear the air-conditioning. There were a little noise from town but nothing that bothered us.

The hotel is located on top of a hill, I don’t think it’s a problem at all, and they also have golf carts waiting for you to take you up. We just walked every time though.

Over all a great hotel, with a great location, and very nice staff.
And another bonus is that the hotel have 3 hotels just beside each other which Means you have 3 different pool areas to choose from.

The rooms are very big and clean. At night it can get loud with the discos in the city. Hotel staff is really friendly and there is always at least one staff member that speaks very good English! The breakfast buffet is very good with omlettes, salad, cheese, various kinds of bread, muesli, fruit, pancakes, french toast, warm dishes etc.
I can also recommend the lunch in the hotel's own restaurant and the shakes at the pool bar. We spend the days at the near beaches or at the hotel pool. The outside facilities are in an okay state, there are some minor improvements that could be done!
One "bad" thing is the really steep hill leading to the hotel. It can be quite exhausting in the hot sun and you should be quite fit for it. But usually there is a golf cart taking guest up and down the hill! Many restaurantsand supermarkets are in walking distance!

Room Tip: Uneven room number. these rooms face the sea side and not the city side!!! More quiet!

Stayed here recently for 10 nights and had an amazing stay and highly recommend this hotel and is excellent value. From the moment we arrived staff were friendly and very helpful, had a superb room with amazing views of the valley, perfect to sit on the balcony with a beer as the sun sets, never grew tired of the view it blew me away. Food was fantastic (as it was in all places I ate in Thailand), the restaurant never seemed to be that busy which was ok as we got served quicker! They put on theme nights every so often so you get a live band with a buffet, again the choice was good and tasted great.
Location, yes the hotel is up a steep hill that takes 2-3 mins to walk up so not recommended for those who may have problems with mobility however they do provide a lift service via a golf cart all day until 11pm to save your legs. for those who said its not near to the beach must be incredibly lazy, its literally 5min walk to Karon beach and 10mins to Kata beach. The hotel is literally in between the two beaches just off the main road. The resort itself at Karon is a very cool and chilled out area with plenty of places to eat and drink, no nightclubs or rowdy people, if you want that go to Patong up the road. Superb beaches and lots of friendly people!

The hotel is part of two buildings a few mins apart so you can use the services at both should you desire. Pool area is good although would need to get there early to grab a sun lounger!

Two points to note, yes there is a problem with mosquito's in the lobby in the evening so watch out for that. Because wifi is free in the lobby everyone uses it there rather than pay, and although the restaurant by the pool is open until 11pm the hotel could do with a bar area so you can sit and have a drink, although there are plenty of places nearby sometime its nice to chill out on the hotel.

Overall a fantastic stay, special mention to the staff on reception and in the restaurant. For good value and the service received I would definitely return here.
Finally when I happen to mentioned to reception we had no water one morning because the plumber was doing some work, we were given free tickets to the music night and buffet. Very impressed.

Peach blossom was a great place to stay! The highlight of our stay was the Steak and Seafood Lover night on Sunday with an amazing band playing for us all night long. The complimentary breakfast was great, no complaints. Very friendly staff, lovely views! Would definitely stay again. Only problem, the wifi wasn't available in the rooms, only in the lobby.

We (three adults in one room) booked 4 nights at the Andaman Seaview hotel in Karon, having requested a high floor, but they could only offer us a ground floor room so as an alternative they moved us to the Peach Blossom for the first 3 nights. By way of compensation the Andaman gave us free evening set meals for those 3 nights. However the Peach Blossom had some disappointing aspects:
- up a steep hill (there was a shuttle bus service but it usually not available)
- long way from the beach
- split between two buildings so we had to use 2 lifts and walk between them
- sunlight entering through louvred balcony door waking us up early
- lumpy pillows (we had to buy new ones)
- iron requested but it was not a steam iron and ironing board was rickety and would not stay up
- hot water was not hot enough for shaving (but OK for a shower).
On the plus side, we had a good view of the island including the Big Buddha and the buffet breakfast was reasonable. The staff were friendly and efficient, no problems there.
Although we prefer the Andaman Seaview, we asked if we could stay at the Peach Blossom for our last night just to save the hassle of moving rooms for one night but they would not oblige.
If we came to Phuket again we would prefer to stay at the Andaman Seaview.

Go here first, then explore other 4 stars and you may be happy. We stayed here last of four resorts, so we were probably spoiled by earlier experiences. Our room was immaculate except for some problem stains in the marble in the bathroom - poor choice of material. It was clean but didn't look like it on first glance. Other than that the room was great with a seperate siting and TV area. The service was irregular and depended on who was on.. fair to great to what service? We had use of the facilities in several group resorts but found the pool areas were very tired in the sister resorts adjoining and frankly for its age the general area around this resort also looked tired. We had plenty of support going up and down the hill with the golf carts or song theow bus and it was very good to use for the beach both down and back. Breakfast was average but the evening meals in house were very good. We enjoyed several discounts attached to our room for staying a week and made the most of them. It is close to both Kata and Karon beaches and all the shops and restuarants. The guests made it for us as they were very friendly and the pool bar helped to introduce new friends. The poolside meals were great value at 90 bauht.

Room Tip: Choose a room away from the front as the nightclubs down the hill boom up the valley if you are on t...

Good hotel, Clean, friendly staff,. Room was cleaned every day unless we stated otherwise and yes we tipped because we wanted to she did a good job. Loved the reggae band that played most evenings. Thai people seem to love reggae music. Could do with another bar area though as the only one they have is the pool bar. Had a bit of a wasp problem our first morning at breakfast was a bit worried as i hate wasps and they carry germs so did not like to see them in the food but we only saw them the one morning though to be honest we never went back till our last morning for breakfast as we were put off maybe a net for such days is an idea. Lunch time was fine no pests and the food is not pricey. Enjoyed swimming in the pool till the sun went down. If you like quiet hotels not too big without hustle and bustle as we do then i would recommend this hotel, there is plenty to do outside a very short distance away or you can take a tuc-tuc to Patong you have more choice of restaurant there.

Room Tip: Pick a pool view room it's not noisy and a better view than the garden.
